I agree it is not good, but it appears to be a problem only for those using this Allo app. At least that was my take away from the article. Hopefully everyone's secret remains safe!

I just never, ever save any search history. I'm constantly in private-mode. I'd rather spend 3-4 extra seconds typing in a website I visit often, rather than have it saved (along with everything else) in my search history. Been doing this for over ten years.
