Is it just me or has everything in the tickling world almost been done already?

All the clips are the same, and even tho we seem to be getting a new tickling video site every week, each one just links you to a site that says "This is the best site you will ever visit" which then links you AGAIN to a clips4sale site where you have to pay around $10-40 to watch a 2minute clip of the same old unoriginal, unthought-out tickling clip.

Myspace used to be good to find ppl with tickling/foot fetishes, but now it just seems to be 50yr old males who's profile pictures have just been taking off someweb site, or supposed "girls" who are "19" "hot and horny for tickling" are only interested in other girls, and have no pictures of themselves (which chances are, is acutaly a 50yr old guy hehe) Where did all the real people go? lol.

The people interested in doing new things are out doing them. There is no limit to what can be done. If you get the impression that everything has been done, that's just because the TMF is backwards and conservative. Most people here are averse to opening their mind and trying new things. So of course, the video companies cater to those people by doing old things again and again.

Btw, tying someone upside-down, an invention of TIB? If that's a sarcastic dig at TIB, then I totally approve. But upside-down bondage with tickling is hardly new. 😛

When i seek originality in different tickling clips i am talking at first about the new tickling positions, fresh ideas of course but also (and maybe even mostly) about new types of character of the ticklees. I base this on cases where someone has posted a risqué clip and been called sick and disgusting. Or, someone PMs me to call me sick for defending the clip. Or another case where someone started a thread exclusively to praise acts of child abuse. Or when someone suggested that "shemale" was an appropriate title for some trans people and everyone jumped on board. Or, big one, the extreme levels of sexism and old-fashioned chivalry present in the forum and especially in the chat room. "Questions for the ladies." Not all people, just many. I even paid my final registration fee to NEST... well, you can breathe easy because I am not going anymore. Too many insults. Anyway, I'm not really convinced numbers are getting higher, especially if you look at it by age range and gender.

Yes, of course. I'm a big fan of the free market. Companies have an incentive to please the largest number of people, or everyone if possible. But that does explain why there's almost no innovation in TK videos, and why the OP might have gotten the impression there was no innovation in the TK world at all.

well, I admit I am not aware of the specifics of the examples that you cite here, but you actually view these as the normal and commonplace sentiments of most folks around here? are you really trying to say here that you believe that most members here "praise acts of child abuse" and advocate the killing off of weak and defective people? If you truly believe that, it tells me far more about you than about the sentiments of "most of the TMF members" here.....

This is what I suggest for everybody who thinks there is "nothing new anymore".

Try to get a girlfriend/boyfriend by either using the personals here or at TickleTheater.com or by doing the usual stuff. You could even try going on eHarmony.com and say that you like tickling and/or bondage.

Then, once you meet somebody into tickling discover everything that you can do with tickling and/or bondage with someone you love.

Then, marry them.

Being in a relationship with somebody who understands your fetish(es) is far better than any clips or videos. No matter how good the clips or videos get, or how many new things companies come up with, the material is never gonna satisfy you completely. Only the real deal with somebody you love can do that.

One more thing. I wouldn't complain about the way things are right now in the online community. Because think about it, no matter how much you don't like the way things are, it could be 1970 or 1980. And guess what, there weren't forums and clips and videos and tickle models and tickle artwork back then. So, if you had the fetish back then you were screwed unless you did it in real life with people.

I also made the mistake in my last post of saying that people going to NEST are not doing something new. Sorry, I'm confused and stupid. My original point was: people who want to do new things are out doing them, in the real world. That includes going out to gatherings. I have nothing but respect for the new people trying them out this year.

If a boyfriend and girlfriend explore tying each other up with scarves for the first time, that's wonderful. That's exciting and new, and if the most seasoned player could watch he would relive the newness vicariously.

I see a few directions in which videos can innovate.

• New ways of making someone hold still. Like the WP video that was posted recently with mercury switches. Or that insex idea of using metal tape for toe bondage. Well, those have been done now, but there's no limit to creativity... What about filming a real D/s couple where the ticklish sub is ordered to hold still? • New tools for tickling people (though I prefer fingers myself). That includes machines.
• New scenarios and locations. Real, well written scenarios. Public locations, maybe. And there's mixing tickling with other BDSM acvities. I've seen a lot posted here, but mainly the video producers steer away from anything other than light tickling and orgasms.
• Each new lee does have interesting quirks, as you pointed out jaba, which we'd see more often if they were treated as a person and not as meat. But the best is for the lee and ler to be in a relationship. It's been done, yes, at least by MT, but every relationship is different. Real emotions are always new.
