This is like a weird dream....but I guess there's nothing else to do but enjoy a start like this and hope the wheels (pitching) stay on the cart.

Like I was telling ticklesfeet4fu on the phone this morning, the edge the Mets have is their fielding. Might be the best Mets defense I've seen, well...arguably ever. It does make a difference, especially when the pitching's tired. And, it's a complete one eighty from what the defense was like five years ago...when the team had a decidedly 1962 look to it.

Braves have excellent pitching. Should be an interesting race.
