Odd question. I'm looking for a correlation...

Hi🙂. I have a question (sort of). I read a thread on here (I think) once about lees with a fascination for hands and fingers. I didn't realize it till I read it, but I do get extremely distracted watching musicians' fingers, like piano and guitar players, and also the way a man makes gestures with his hands and fingers in general(or the way they type, play video games, etc.🙂 ). I would like to know from lers (probably lees too), whether you play any instruments, or what sort of other hobbies/activities do you engage in that specifically make great use of your fingers' agility. I kind of think lers excel at those activities, and how well they do those things correlates to how skilled they are at...tickling:blushes: 😀

Sorry, I'm not sure if this is an odd question or not, but I am curious🙂

I'm more of a lee in general, but I have been told I'm also quite a skilled ler :cheesy:. Interestingly enough, I play the guitar and I've always been good at making things with my hands, ever since I was a youngin 😀. I think you're onto something with this correlation business, Myth. Let's see who else steps forward!

I'll be perving this thread for musicians. Just sayin...

Lmao, that's awesome! :bwahaha:

Very interesting correlation you make there, Myth! I'm pretty much musically inept unfortunately, but I fiddle around on the guitar here and there 😀

I'm a fast typer (40 wpm I guess?) and I drum my fingers a lot (drives people nuts! I don't even know I'm doing it, lol 😀). Not sure if that counts! Interesting thread 🙂

Interesting question.

Been a while, but guitar and bass. Hoping to get some new accessories this Christmas (like an amp) to get back into it. I can also compose on keyboard/piano. Not a bad typist. Speed wise, anyway.

I don't think my leather working promotes dexterity that correlates to tickling ability, but one never knows. Maybe the stitching part.

Like to let your mind stray watching someone play, do you?

Christopher

I'm quite adept at typing and I used to play saxophone for 9 years. Haven't done it for years though.

I dont play an instrument, but you should see me shreding on a guitar hero guitar 😉

I also had this idea to body paint a naked lee to look like a guitar and bind her wrists and ankles and pretend she was a double base or something for a laugh 😛

I've played saxophone for 18 years and went to college for it. I type pretty quickly. But I'm not sure there's a correlation between that and ler'ing.

I play Be-Bop Saxophone as well classical Clarinet. And though it's not a real instrument I play a mean Guitar Hero Bass. 😀

In all seriousness though the only benefit I can tell is the ability for one's fingers to possibly have more coordination due to musical training, but that does not necessarily make one a better 'ler than someone who cannot play an instrument...it doesn't hurt though. 🙂

Well, my wife was never impressed with my trombone playing, but I did find it more than a coincidence that every girl I ever dated was specifically interested in the condition of my hands.

I believe it has more to do with the psychological aspect of being secure in what's touching you in general, rather than the more focused specifics of tickling.

I've been playing the piano since I was 6 years old and just bought an acoustic guitar last year but haven't taken any lessons yet, I just like to tinker around and I'm trying to teach myself but I think I'm going to give in and take proper lessons.

I must disagree with you -or the shirt at least- A guitar player tends to only use their left hand for the finger techinique while the other has a pick

Now a bass player, such as myself, must use both hands for finger skills. So, bass players finger better

<3 Bass ftw <3

(on the other hand...trombone players know all seven positions...but that's a whole different story XD)

lol I type extraordinarily fast when i want to (80 wpm?) and, like i said, i play bass. I dunno if it's a direct correlation, but I'm sure it don't hurt to be light on your hands lol

Spanish flamenco! 😀

As for me, guitar, and when I type it sounds like a Gatling gun.

I am loving everybody's answers😀 Thanks for posting, this is fun to read🙂

Not all guitar players use a pick, Hypah, dear.

I do, but since I also play bass.....😀

Christopher

^^
I know, that's why i said "tend to" :3 I play with fingers too cause i can't play with a pick 😀

Guitarist are overrated and bassists are underrated :3 but without the underdog, there would be no overachiever 😀

Well, some bass players are overrated too. And some guitar players are underrated. Usually the rhythm guitarists. The lead guys get all the glory.

I'm mostly a pick player simply because I like the sound of the more percussive attack.

But that too can translate into tickling madness if done right :devil2:

Christopher

I'm a serious musician, video game player, and typist, but I don't have any intuitive sense that any of that is correlated with tickling. If I could manipulate a tickle a willing recipient with my mind and not my hands, I think I would enjoy the creative possibilities with no less eagerness.
