So, I already made an intro topic, but this is more of a re-intro intro topic. Or something. :laughing: (btw, I freakin' LOVE the smilies here!)

I'm Dalekfire (aka. Dalek, aka. Dale, aka. Brandin, aka. psychopath). Though I joined a few months back, I haven't really posted much as I've concentrated much of my activity at the TMF. Dunno why...I guess because of the faster flow of posts and such there.

Buuut...as of recent days, my tastes for the TMF had soured, mainly due to the rotten way people sometimes are and the chaos that ensues from that. I mean, member interactment problems I can deal with, but it's when the board has crazy wars and popularity issues that I feel like pulling my hair out. So I've decided that I've had it with posting there, and went back to lurking again.

But don't get me wrong, I'm not here to growl about the TMF. Wouldn't want to dissuade anyone against posting there or anything like that. Despite its member issues, the TMF is still a pretty cool place. Just saying that I don't feel comfortable posting there anymore, as a member who is looking to be part of a community.

And that's why I'm here. Decided to try my luck at the great Tickle Theater. Seems like there's more of a younger crowd here, anyway, and the lesser traffic may be a plus, as well. And now that I'm way more open than before (if you read my intro topic, you'll see what I'm talking about... xD), I'm really wanting to start posting lots 'n lots. Heh, and I'm already having a ball in the chatroom. :happy:

So yeah. Here I am. :redface: Where's the buffet line? I'm famished! 😉

Though, my suggestion would be to delete the place from your Bookmarks altogether. If you don't feel comfortable being part of a community... why frequent it at all? 🙂

Oh, if I just stick to lurking, I'd be just fine. ^^ I was really into the stories and artwork and such before I got active with the postingness, anyway. Wouldn't want to abandon those... 😉

Take it from me, the artwork posted here is by and large better than that at TMF. And most art posted here actually gets more than a couple of "Nice work" style comments. 😀 I love my TT.

I see it as more of a databse that holds pics and clips, rather than a community forum.

That's why I enjoy this place so much more. 😀

hello..the artwork here is awesome..especially by my very good friend LittleBigHead aka Low Roads..i belonged to the tmf but left for personal reasons..one can get too wrapped up in things online..

Bob - Oh, I find that there is a community there. It's just...too "highschool," for my tastes. Lots of bickering and finger-pointing and stuff I think could be easily avoided if issues are just talked through instead of cast aside like the world did after WWI (and we all know what became of that). Powder kegs all over the place.

Izzy - I've recalled seeing you around a lot as I lurked in the past. I'm glad to have finally met you. 🙂 And thanks...I tend to think up the craziest of things...including topic titles. "Normal" isn't in my vocabulary... :laughing:
