Ohio State Vs. Michigan 2008

I think the football players for MI are actually MI Tech [hockey] players in Wolverines jerseys.

It's the only way to describe their porous play!:blaugh:

DO NOT make fun of Michigan players, we had our growing pains but we will be back!

GO BLUE!!!

Normally I would get great pleasure from this but unable to due to the slaughtering that Michigan State also took from Penn State. *shakes head in disgust* But at least Ohio State will not be going to the Rose Bowl and Michigan State WILL be going to a bowl game. Good luck next year Michigan.

My husband and I cuddled on the sofa to watch the game, as we do every year. As big-time fans of The Ohio State University we were naturally very happy to see the Buckeyes dominate UM. And we were equally as let down when Penn State put a savage beating on the Spartans, because we knew the Bucks should have beaten PSU.

But beating Michigan is primary, no matter what the records and what the post-season implications are. Five in a row! Yeeeowww!

There was a rumor that the UM football team wouldn't make it to Columbus. After all, they can't get past Toledo.

Love,
Jean

I saw a guy at Buffalo Wild Wings this weekend wearing a red and white shirt that said "Muck Fichigan" and "Ann Arbor is a *****".

ZING!

I saw a guy at Buffalo Wild Wings this weekend wearing a red and white shirt that said "Muck Fichigan" and "Ann Arbor is a *****".

DOUBLE ZING!

I've always respected, Michigan and hope they can somehow return to some form of prominence (as opposed to say; Nebraska, FSU, Hurricanes, UW).

All I know is Maize and Blue fans are missing Lloyd Carr NOW!

No, we're not missing Lloyd Carr...I was ready for a change. They underachieved under Lloyd.

I'm ok with having a down year, however I do hope they get rid of Scott Schafer, the Defensive Coordinator....he failed miserably.

RichRod messed up by playing all of those freshman the first half of the season. By the time the offense had any continuity the season was already lost. He wants them to gain experience which is great, but not at the expense of the seniors and having an average season (six or seven wins i was expecting)

Losing to Mich State...no problem, I've always liked them

Losing to Ohio State...sucks, but they're talented

Losing to Notre Dame...no excuses here...losing to Weiss and Notre Lame was disgusting...I will never care for that school...

I knew we would have a down year, its cool....

we will be back, I promise you that

I still hate Ohio State with a passion

Yeah and besides, look who Ohio State is losing: Chris "Benie" Wells, James Laurinaitis, Malcolm Jenkins, Todd Boeckman (i can't believe they treated him like that), Marcus Freeman, Brian Robiskie, and many others I care less to mention.

So far all there getting back is the much over hyped & overrated Terrell Pryor, Boom Herring, Brandon Saine (Both were no match for USC's line backing core or Michigan's run defense) So I think once Michigan gets the right quarterback for the Spread offense the natural balance in the Big Ten will return

From what I saw, Michigan State has a pretty good up and coming QB. I have a feeling they will be right there in the mix also.

You're right, on paper and in theory the Buckeyes might have their down time much like the Wolverines (Post Henne and co).

But Pryor is not overrated. He's a true freshman, give him time and he'll deliver.

So you're assuming The Ohio State University won't have a good recruiting class? They're stuck with the players you mentioned? BTW, the young man's name is Herron, not Herring.

Oh, and Pryor will be no better in the future than he is now. Nothing going to change. Yessir, OSU will be Indiana next season. All their recruits will look like Mo Wells and Jamario O'Neal.
