So i was thinking about when I first found the tickling online community. (insert hazy memory sequence and nineties grunge music) Ahhhh yes it was about 1995 and I had just discovered the wonderful world of AOL :manicd: I decided to put the word tickle into the search engine just to see what would pop up...and Voila!! i soon found....(insert "a whole new world song") :woot: <---me
the first page I looked at was tickle master's page and A.N.A and I think TJ's video page a year after that i discovered REALTickling and Jeff's vids.....(wow that was back when you guys gave away long free video clips...... :whip: (ahem) and also when I learned about mpg's and rm's and avi's, you see before that I had no idea about computers.

anyway
(insert arrested development song--"Tennessee"
I wonder what you guys remember about the early days of the Internet tickling and what your first websites were and your first impressions.
do tell...

ALL the way back to 1995???

ROTFLMAO!!!

Egad! but, I suppose, 10 years ago is wayback for some!

(Mr. Peabody and Sherman, maybe?)

I was lucky enough (or perverted enough) to dicover TFTA magazine, where ads for the TMF were prominetly displayed. lomg before I owned a computer. So, when I finally got one, I knew just where to go!

Now, people tell me where to go! :jester:

It was about four years ago, when I typed the word "Tickling" into yahoo's search engine and the 2nd link was this place.

A year later I signed up and here I am.

It has been a long time ago ,I can;t recall the actual years I first got involved in tickling online via Internet . All I do know, recall is that my very first tickle websites I stumbled onto were HotelTickle,Josie the Pussycat webpage, and of course TMF :happyfloa

it was last summer..first someone told me about a website called swtickle i think it was called..but the stories never changed..however i read what would turn out to be my favorite tickletorture tale, written by anonymous..then when i was told about this forum, much to my surprise i found out that this person i had been pming with was the author of that wonderful tickletorture story... "The Amusement Park Hysteria" written by the one and only Shadowtklr...

Picture it! 1996!

I got a computer and went on line for the first time!

In the middle of the night...as my new wife slept peacefully in the next room...I typed "tickle" into a sprynet search and

POOF

TickleGal's site!!!

Then the rest of them opened up to me!

Tickle Central!
TJ!

And they jsut grew and grew from there!

That is a good one. I remember finding that one early on too. Also the epic by Shem the Penman..Tales of the Golden Feather, which today remains at the top of my list. And how cool it was to meet Shem at NEST, it was like seeing a movie star or something.

Then there's Dave2112's stuff. Damn.

I think secretly typing in the word tickle or tickling in a search engine is how a lot of us got started, when you received results in the search engine didn't the little hairs on the back of your neck stand up...didn't tingles start going down your spine?? how was it when you realized scores of others had the same feelings??

The 1st sites were ticklegals, tickle alaska, 1st chat was NTCWeb where I met my old buddies Drew and Tommy as well as shem, josie and some others. I am thinking I 1st did this around 9 years ago...wow, it has been a while

Ah, the memories..
My first experience was actually a usenet newsgroup - the one before alt.multimedia.tk that was spammed to death, can't remember the name.. anyone?

After that, TickleGal's website, A.N.A, TJ, and so on...

It was 1997, I was 16 and I typed 'tickling' into Yahoo, not expecting to actually find much. The first site that came up was called 'Tickle Master's Site' (doesn't exist anymore), and the rest just flowed from there.

It's been about 3 and a half years since I found tickling on the internet. I found it by accident, really, but I'm really glad that I did.

I found this place by accident. I was google searching TMF (The Music Factory), and was surprised when this TMF popped up 😀

ahh that is how i would be if i ever had the good fortune to meet with Shadowtklr..as it was when we first began yahooing.. i could only say it's you lolol over and over like a babbling idiot.. and yes i agree about Shem..that series ranks as a favorite of mine also..

I'm so amazed at how many years that tickling has been on the internet. Until i found the forum, i thought i was the only one with this interest..

I, as with most others, used yahoo to search for tickle and then got plunged into the world of tickling.

The odd thing was, I wasn't exactly sure WHY I searched for it. It was only after I looked at several websites did I realise that I actually had a fetish for tickling.

Without the internet I'm sure a lot of us would feel a lot worse about our feelings towards tickling. It really is a fantastic invention!

You want to talk about Way Back!!!!

Well I fist got online in 1982 with my Commodore 64, a 300 baud modem, and Compuserv. Everything was text then and with a 300 baud modem there was no such a thing as chat. But the text scrolling on the screen was slow enough that you could actually read it faster then it appeared.

There was a room on CS called the Foot and Fetish Room or something like that. It was there that I exchange info with folks and I first learned about guys like Tobias Hackner and actully meet tickling friends in my area. As a matter of fact, I had more luck meeting friends for tickling using that then I do now a days using the modern internet and all it sites and forums.

So there you go. Way...Way...Way Back.

My first's were Tom's Adult Tk Site and Ticklegals. After that I made my own "HotelTickle" which had a nice 3 year stay. :dogpile:

peace out,
daddy

I remember Camp Tickle. I also remember Holly which I loved but do not think it is around anymore.

My site "The Laugher's Tickling Website had a good run from 1998 - 2004

Waaaay back in late '95..or maybe it was early/middle '96...anyway, I typed in "tickle" on Yahell and found Tom's site, NTC, CB's site and a few others. Seems like a loooooooong time ago.

That is--I searched for "tickle" on my parent's computer at my old house.

This is before I knew anything about cookies.

:shake: :shake:

Didn't hear anything, though. :wow:

LOL I've been through so many sites so many times over the years that it's hard to recall the first ones. But, Camp Tickle, Hotel Tickle, Alaska Tickles, Josie, AMT, Tom's, MTP, Max and Tickle Gal's sites were among the earlier ones. I actually didn't pay much attention to the TMF until Drew and I got together. But, I was often in the variety of AOL tickle-related chat rooms.

*Suddenly hears "Memories" playing in the background*

......Way back, indeed. Laugher is correct,.... the early 80's were the crucible of national awareness and communication. We just didn't have the technology of today.

......While 1995 is indeed a long time ago in terms of the blossoming of a healthy, like-minded community,.. it was during the prior decade that the primitive and exploratory initiatives were being floated. Yeah,... Camp Tickle,... UFO Girl,...Donna,... Alaska,... Expert's chatroom,....just ten years ago. But in '82, there was Marty and Bob and Kurt,.... some girl in Michigan,... BAC was just getting started. (I don't like to speak of Hackner)

.....Did a few stories and scripts, myself.

......Ok,... this is my first post here. And I imagine that that a handful of you might know me as Parisle from ten years ago,.... Didn't mean to be so long in saying Hello. Sigh...

....Ah,... but the early 80's,.... the "wild west" era of Tk Manifest Destiny. Packets of snapshots by US MAIL. Ads in magazines and tabloids. 9X12 envelopes full of photo's, cartoons and short stories which had been re-xeroxed no less than thirty times.... They resembled sonar read-outs. And "audio" tapes,........ whew!..... shows you how desperate we were.

....And the very earliest bonafide reference to tickling I can recall (one of the old "True Man" magazines) ...was in 1967. Expert and I chatted about that one once,... he's quite a historian.

....Dang,...what a shame that the first thread I respond to is one that qualifies me for carbon-dating. But computers are amazing, eh?

My earliest memories of tickling and the net involved mIRC and the various chatrooms which sprang up from there.I used to go by ^JimDandy mongst others.

hmmmmmmmmm a look back on the pass

When i first discoverd "tickling" i just purchased my first lap top and typed in the words "tickling in the usa" on the google site and i was in total shock , I could not sleep for two days straight because i finally found out that i was not crazy and other people share this pleasure for tickling. I remember constantly visiting a website called "solefully yours"...omg! They had a telephone number that you could call and listen to some of the women of the website get tickled every week. I use to go threw phone cards like they were empty gas tanks.....lol Im so glad that i found out that there are thousands of us out there....... :bouncybou
