Okay so I just got back from the doctorb today. heh...torb.

anyway It appears I have High Blood Pressure which I had this misfortune to inherrent from my parents. Genes suck. Anyhoo i'm relieved but peveed at the life style changes I got to make. Not mention I absolutely fear swallowing pills.

If I could get some advice maybe, some activites to do or stuff to eat that doesn't induce vomiting. That'll be nice.

hmmm...I bet my decapatation would be cool...nah. I love my head. 😛

I have the same condition and have been on medication for several years. The most important thing is to take your medication exactly as directed and visit your doctor for all necessary follow-ups and screenings. After that, it gets harder.

You should lower your sodium intake to under 2000 mg/day, exercise in moderation, and reduce your fat and calorie intake. You should also avoid tobacco and alcoholic beverages and never have more than two drinks in a day. If your doctor okays it, you can also add a Vitamin C supplement and citrus bioflavonoids to your diet, about 250 mg/day, to protect your circulatory system.

yes genes do in fact suck...i inherited high cholesterol from my father that showed up after i turned fifty..grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr so now i'm on lipitor..

and hmm i had a huge phobia about swallowing pills for a long time..the doctors all understood and prescribed the med in liquid form...today however i have gotten over that phobia..
