This scene is from the Ernie Kovacs show. Ernie Kovacs was a popular comedian in the 50's. He had a black & white sketch comedy show on early TV. He did crazy skits like Monty Python or Benny Hill, but way before any of them. (Funny - a few of us were talking about Ernie Kovacs at the last NEST. Anyone remember the Nairobi Trio??

)
I remember this Mona Lisa skit (saw it in reruns - I may be old, but not
that old
😉). It shows a close up of the Mona Lisa painting in a museum, but it is a real person in the picture frame. Of course, the Mona Lisa has her famed sly grin. But she starts giggling and the camera pans down to see her whole body. She is barefoot, and a cat is licking her foot.
Great stuff from the 50's!
