So I'm watching women's swimming and diving events on the Olympics (reluctantly, but you gotta pick your battles wisely with the missus), and my deviant fetish mind of course started wondering about how ticklish their feet are or aren't. I'm curious if anyone out there has had tickle encounters with frequent swimmers, or if there are women out there who swim a lot and can confirm their feet are more or less ticklish because of swimming, or if it has no effect whatsoever, and I'm just perving into nothing-land. I suspect the latter, but the fetish part of my brain remains a-twitter.

All i can say that thoughts of many swimmers, beach volleyball players amd soccer players have come to mind lately.

Missy Franklin, Dana Vollmer, Kerri Walsh, Alex Morgan!

I knew a girl who was a frequent swimmer and she was quite ticklish, especially on her tender feet. She liked massage a lot and she was ready to endure some tickling in exchange for a massage. She actually liked both I think 🙂 Although sometimes it was hard for her to handle foot tickling, as well as her ribs and armpits.

Although it seems like common sense that feet would get softer, and presumably more ticklish from spending a lot of time training in a pool, it's actually the opposite. Pool water is chlorinated to prevent harmful bacteria, but chlorine is a strong base. Strong bases react with oils and fats (like the ones that keep hair and skin soft and supple) to form surfactants (ie soap). Soap is water soluble, while the natural oils are not. Therefore, chlorinated water effectively removes some of the natural oils from foot skin. So the chlorine in the water actually results in feet being less soft as a result of spending a lot of time in the pool. Sorry to be a buzz kill. It's my inner chemistry nerd coming out. But the effects can be ameliorated by washing away the chlorine after swimming and using a good moisturizer. I'd still love to give a female Olympic swimmer a good foot tickling!
