While sweeping stereo types never totally hold up (I'm black and I can't play basketball), what yimbo said has been my observation of many non-Americanized Asians as well. I am quite frequently awash in the Asian cultures and have worked, lectured and played with them outside of the US.

To further demonstrate just how much this kind of thing permeates some Asian cultures, I was working on a national media campaign for Panasonic to promote a new digital media in Japan several years ago and had to select 12 American models. It was demanded of me that I capture self stifling and self restraining nature of women for a successful media campaign over there. That's doesn't speak for all Asian, but its part of their cultures.

I'd also like to offer that when someone shares a personal observation like this, it's ok to take it as their valid point of view.

I'm with you in this apparent minority. There's a certain something when a model isn't completely nude. I'm not sure how to put it in words.

I guess the best way for me to describe it is that the girl-next-door element (e.g., Courtney's eyes) gets overwhelmed when a nude body is there for all to see.
I'm sure most will disagree with me here, but it's just the way I like to drink my tea.

On the nudity thing, I find clothed models more fascinating because I can mentally relate them more easy to everyday women that I meet.

I shoot a little nudity, but only where it adds to the story.

I understand that many may prefer lots of nudity, and that's ok.

I too have lived in East Asia (dont know much about south or southeast) and while Japanese woman seem to have an affinity for covering their smiles...I just didnt see it in Korea or China so much especially in informal settings...
That said if some Asian woman (non American) was tied on her knees topless getting tickled by another woman on video for the world to see I would probably guess she may be a bit nervous.

I see you fellows' points But when I hear someone say: "her asian heritage has a lot to do with the way she keeps all of her laughter in." ,even if it is an Asian that said it, I always cringe a bit. Then I run over to some Japanese tickle sites and Chinese tickle sites and watch Asian women laughing hard mouth agape without hindrance and then remember my own experiences (albeit private) and it seems to totally contradict that stereotype.
