One Mystery of the Universe solved!

We had to get the dreaded annual school physicals done. Afterwards, they got Tootsie Roll Pops at the desk as a reward. MDJ and I told them about the old commericial of the kid finding out how many licks it took to get to the Tootsie Roll center, the owl biting it after three.

Well, my son took up the challenge. He reached it after 1020 licks. So, we finally have the answer! Our lives are now more complete....

That might be a problem actually...just walking up to people and licking their faces... "mmm...you're so chewy!"

Thats just asking for a fist to the mouth or a slap to the face. There are those, I'm sure, who would welcome the lick however. Who knows, it might make a good ice breaker or a swell way to come on to someone. 😛

Yeah but the number of licks would also depend on the size of your tongue, acidity of your saliva, etc. Something tells me Gene Simmons might take less licks to get to the center of the tootsie pop. 😀
