This question is for those who do not have a clip store or subscription site (OnlyFans, Loyalfans, etc)

Tell me how you’d go about it?
  • Type of content
  • equipment
  • finding talent
  • pay if any
  • booking duration
  • how it would be filmed
  • etc.

I will not judge unless you expressly want my input.

I have a lot of questions about starting a studio. Like model release forms, where/how do you get them and what do they look like?

I've gotten majority of my equipment (restraints, massage table, recording equipment, etc) from my local stores or lion's den.

The type of content I'd make would be focused on tickling, mostly upper body. Maybe some foot tickling but only if that spot is ticklish or gives the best reaction. There would be armpit and belly worship content too. Also nudity but only if the models allow it. Exclusively M/F tickling and I'd be open to women all shapes and sizes. I'd honestly try to make content where the model is in a relationship and open to being tickled by another man as well.

I'm still curious about how I would find talent. I'd start with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, tklmap, etc) maybe even Onlyfans if they're okay with meeting with their fans. Happy to hear any advice though on finding talent.
It would be smart to have my studio across all platforms I guess.

How would it be filmed? I have a phone and a tripod so I can use that until I get a proper camera for recording. Start with what I got then work my way up. I'm no editing expert yet but how do producers film with two cameras and I guess sync the footage together (?)

I'm still unsure about pay and I guess the duration depends on how long the model feels comfortable being tickled(?). But if the pay works like I think it does then every time a video makes a sale, that model would get sent half of what was made. I'd want to make sure that my models keep getting paid after doing the session/shoot with me.

How do you imagine pay and duration work with filming?

Also, public service announcement. never as a model about IRL anything through paid platforms as it is against the platform’s TOS.

Thank you for giving feedback/advice. I'll be sure to write down (well put it in my notes app) anything useful so I can remember it ❤️
I guess I confused myself when I got to the pay/duration part of my comment.

Pay and duration is x amount of money per hour isn't it?

Generally, yes that's right. Some models do pay per scene, but that's harder to pull off when tickle producers typically do clips that are between 5-10 minutes. The average rate is north of $100/hr. Anyone who pays less per hour is shooting with people who do not know any better. Yes, I did say that. Collabs or trade (i.e. no money changes hands) are an exception, but less common with new male content creators unless they are lees.

Legitimate question that I promise is not me asking for your personal info: are you currently having any problems with withdrawing money from your store, or the clips? In the UK creators of adult content can have trouble because banks don't want to publically "condone" adult content, and with the increase in laws regulating toys and adult content in general, I'm worried. Are you working with a major US bank, a credit union, or what?

I'm in the U.S. and I use a credit union. I'd suggest others use the same or whatever the UK version of that is. I would not go with a big national bank. Some of the adult content companies use a separate name for their business. I think OnlyFans is the only one dumb enough to have the business name match the adult industry name.

I've gone back and forth on this for the past nine months or so. I have serious concerns about what it might do to my personal life if anyone found out about me producing tickle content. I waffled between worrying about that and the potential regret of "Not having lived the life YOU wanted to live". I've written some erotica but I don't have the ability or the interest in churning it out as fast as you need to build an audience. Video content is where it's at.

I went as far as creating profiles on social media and a folder with release forms including an extensive cognitoform that I could send to prospective models. I messaged a few models but got either no response or time-wasters and attempts at catfishing. It seems like unless you're already someone people know, there really isn't any reason for these models to trust you. I also asked for advice from a couple established studios, but only Tickling Is Fun responded (He was very helpful and knowledgeable, which I appreciated greatly.)

I know exactly what I'd want the channel to produce: It would be vertical content, POV-style, shot on an iPhone, most of it handheld with some of the timed stuff stationary. Only my hands would ever appear onscreen, and I'd wear various costumes depending on the model and video. I'd do a typical hour shoot that would be broken into different-length clips and posted on an Instagram (the tamer ones), a Twitter, a Reddit, a Redgifs, and either Clips4Sale or Onlyfans/Fansly (or both?). There would be an interview clip, a clothed unrestrained tickling clip focused on playfulness (I've never seen this kind of tickling content ever), an "unboxing" clip where the model strips naked, a naked unrestrained tickling clip focused on playfulness, then a "surrender" clip where the model is put into an under-the-bed X restraint, then different timed clips eg full body tickling, belly, sides, feet, etc. The model counts to 5 while being tickled, counts to 10, counts to 20, counts to 30, etc.

That'd be the core of the content, but if the model is up for it I'd be open to other forms of tickling like a Wartenberg wheel, orgasm play followed by feather on clit, etc. It all came from wanting to produce the kind of content I'd like to see more of, which is less focus on feet, more focus on the playfulness of tickling, more focus on first-timers, all while still giving the audience the classic, proven brand of tickling content that does well on its own (bondage, nudity, focus on reactions and different body parts). I'd also considered having a "clown tickling" off-branch to the content, as well, but that isn't something I'd ask for until I'd become established.

I still want to explore this fetish of mine more extensively. Life is short. But I ultimately decided against it, at least for now, and I deleted everything at the beginning of the year. The fear of being doxxed and having my square life ruined, of something going wrong and getting myself pariah'd by the tickling or fetish community, the worry that my release form was asking for too much, and the realization that I have no in-roads anywhere with any models or producers and was largely wasting my time all came together and convinced me empty the trash. The cons outweighed the pros by a lot.

I'll probably always want to do something like this, but if it's "meant to be", the universe needs to make it more obvious.

Mostly upper body? That's like finishing your meal and skipping dessert. Guys want to see ticklish female feet!

I'm aware that majority of the community is interested in feet but I'm just not that into feet also I have a tickle fetish not a foot fetish.
I'd want to make content I like and feel like there should be more upper body tickling 🙂

The fear of being doxxed and having my square life ruined, of something going wrong and getting myself pariah'd by the tickling or fetish community, the worry that my release form was asking for too much....
These concerns interested me.

On the fear of being doxed, since you're not showing your face, was the concern that people would recognize your voice? Seems to me, you could either not talk, or better yet, replace your voice in editing with either subtitles or an AI voice. Or... was your concern that models would dox you after shoots in social media, either intentionally or unintentionally? Even with them, you could operate under a pseudonym, right?

Regarding the release form asking too much, how do you mean? You're certainly anonymous here, so I'm curious to know what you'd imagine asking for on a release form that would be deemed out of bounds. Obviously, there are porn videos made all the time with models who sign releases allowing them to be bound, gagged, whipped and fucked... and those contracts are seen as perfectly fine, provided everything is disclosed in advance. So I'm wondering what kinds of contract provisions concern you? Thanks.

Any of the above. People talk. And yes, you're right, there's plenty of ways around it. It was likely a lot of paranoia and mental baggage on my part.

As far as asking too much, you're right, models have agreed to do way more than what I was asking for or suggesting in my form, but that was always with established brands or people that they know or who are at least vouched for. It's the problem of starting out from zero, just being a "guy with a camera". It seems getting over that first hurdle of making a decent reputation for yourself is a real challenge. Or maybe it isn't and I'm overthinking it. So it wasn't so much what I was asking for, but more, "You want to do a feather on clit and I've never met you and no one else has? Slow your roll, buddy, that's how how we do things around here..." and then I'm blacklisted without even meaning to be.

What are your suggestions for getting started? Is it even feasible building an audience right now? Like I said in my original post, part of me will always want to do this and wonder how and if I could get started.

First thing I'd ask is to whom you'd be reaching out to be models? So yes, if you approached some girl you met in a coffee shop, or asked the cute girl neighbor to do this, they might react negatively to the "clit" question. But if you placed an ad for fetish video models in an erotic Discord server and they responded to you, or approached the right kind of OF girls, or put a notice on FetLife, I don't think anyone would be put off by you simply asking the question.

Another solution is to start simpler, by scheduling a first session with just "regular" tickling of girls in bikinis or underwear. That would allow you to get started with that whole "X-Rated" issue off the table for you. You don't have to do everything you've ever wanted to do in your very first session -- in fact, you probably shouldn't.

And as for whether it's feasible to build an audience right now, I have no idea. But that shouldn't affect your decision about recording a first video. Keep in mind that you could do a first video as a test for yourself and then decide later if you ever want to publish it. If I were you, I'd not worry about the audience building aspect until you've already made a video, and can decide whether you like it and think it's good.

Appreciate the thoughts, to be honest I didn't really know where to look, I'd been told twitter and reddit were good places. I'll see what happens.

Don't get me wrong -- you certainly can ask normie girls to be in a video like this... I'm just saying in that case you might want to keep that pitch safer, cleaner and more sanitized to avoid the adverse reaction you described.

If I were doing it, I'd start with the upside about how much money they could make in a very little time. Then, if that seems to draw interest, continue by explaining there's a genre of online videos that don't involve sex, and don't involve nudity, but just "play" with fetishes. Most people have heard of foot fetishes, so I might say:

"It's a lot like foot fetishes -- that is, completely harmless, and yet there's a surprisingly lucrative ability to get paid for it. It's just tickling. Would you want a great payday for doing something like that?"

In short, I'd get right to the point, but also do it in a way that reduces their potential fear and anxiety about all of it seeming like a deep dark, mysterious, scary, dungeon cult. Make it feel like "Holy shit -- there's free money for doing something so harmless!" 🙂
