Opinion on a possible tattoo.

Greetings to all.
I've been thinking about getting a tickling related tattoo, one which would modestly illustrate my love of foot-tickling.

Does anyone think the image below would make a viable tattoo?

Anyways, the image is not anything mindblowing or innovative...but I feel it's a nice simple way to illustrate something I enjoy.
New York has a million tattoo parlors, now if I can only track down a place that can get my tattoo exactly right.

So, waddya think?

Yeah it was really elaborate. The guy who did was REALLY talented. He took a black & white ink illustration and did it in color with shading and everything. Got it done on my upper left area of my back. Hurt like a f*cking bitch let me tell you, much more than my other tats. I'll post a pic once its done healing. (just got it done last Friday)

*grins* As a tattoo addict, fan of tickling, and a human poster board myself for the fetish (one tickling related tattoo on my foot already, a second tickling tattoo coming in May), I'm always a ready advocate for others debating with the same path. 😀

Lovely picture selected. It will make a wonderful tattoo, providing you can find a artist who can draw it properly and true to life. Shop around, find the best artist at real photograph to drawing you can find in your area. If it's done right, it will be a worth-while and wonderful investment 🙂

Aha I see it now. Great pic, that would be a perfect tattoo, as long as you got a high quality artist (guess that goes without saying). There are so many places you could put it, and it is innocent enough to be displayed without embarrassment.

I saw the pic(Image) just fine and it would make a great tatt! Just make sure you go to a really good artist who can assure you of quality!

Thanks all for supporting my choice! It was a tough decision between the above image and this classic illustration:

...but I leaned more towards the original pic, as it is a lot more subtle, as a couple of you pointed out. I guess I just needed a push in the right direction, as well as some good ole' affirmation, just to make sure I wasn't about to make an embarrassing mistake. Thanks guys and gals!

I've been checking out the Tribeca area in search of a good place, and I am considering a place on Canal Street called TRIBAL TATTOO. There's a gorgeous Montreal gal there who does awesome work (and her French accent is easy on the ears..yowza!) But I'll still be shopping around, just in case.

And Chesire Cat, dude...ya gotta tell me where you got yours done! 🙂 Did you go to a parlor....or was this person an acquaintance? Can't wait to see the pic of it. And sure thing Mr. TTD....I'll be more than happy to post a pic of my own after I get mine done. 🙂

Ah, Ms. Mimi, I remember back in my lurking days reading your posted story on how you got that tattoo on your foot. Awesome story. I felt for you in your little "ordeal" 😉 ..and the resulting tattoo was gorgeous. You say you'll be getting another this month? What will the design be this time around?

I thought you meant where on my body I got it....

I got it done at <b>Cort's Tattoo</b> on Rt.112 in Medford. Its out on the Island (Suffolk County). The guys name was Eric and one of the most talented ones there. They price well too...this one is detailed as shit, color, pretty big and only cost me aroud $110.
