origin of tickling

anyone know what and when the origin of tickling came into play by any chance??

i dunno something like the egyptians had it like queen hatsheput enjoyed it or something?

also what was the origin for you to get into the act??

i remember mine was when i was a kid i saw these two popeye cartoons where olive oyl was tickled on a beam and on a ghost ship that got me obssessed into tickling 😀

ahhhh the origin of my tickling obsession can be traced back to a tv show called brainiac lol. its a science based show where they do all the zany experiments ur teachers dont let u do in class hehe.

this one episode they had a tickling experiment which consisted of a series of tickling tests! for example they tied a guy to a chair and tickled his feet while lightly hitting him with a ping pong bat to see which sensation he would rather endure (the pain or the tickling) and he chose the pain!! id choose tickling everytime! hehe

so thats when i started looking up tickling on the net and found u wonderful ppl! hehe

well thats it from me...i think ive rambled on enough lol

My tickling experiences date back to when i was 7/8 and for my birthday all my friends and family pinned me down and tickled me mercifully! As unbearable as it was I enjoyed it!!

it was a good ep wasn't it! what i wouldn't give to be the guinea pig in that experiment! haha. in reference to ur first tickling experience......that's the kind of birthday party i wanna be invited 2!! hehe

Given that young chimpanzees tickle each other at play, I would say that it goes back millions of years to our pre-human ancestors. 😀

The origins of tickling go way way back to the Mabassa people of east Asia. Jebediha Mabassa in 6724 AD was pluking the feathers from his caught doe doe bird when one feather bristle flew in the air and carressed the chin of his common law wife right after she just finished shaving. He saw her giggle and well this warmed the cockles of his long sphear. Seeing he just invented rope the week earlier a light rock went off in his head. It was like the first time he put fire and meat together or found the wheel made running over his friends easier.Well with rope and feather and a dark cave and the company of the common law wife, 9 months later and 10,000 doe doe bird feathers, lots of little Mabassa kids roamed the earth and they all lived happily ever after.
