In Chapt 35 "You (men/masculine) are always looking for freedom. He describes the masculine(women can be masculine too but most men) as always looking for freedom. The void.

Huh? I never thought about it that way!?! So what does that mean? He explains numerous examples of how our masculine loves freedom. His first example is male orgasm, there is a build up of tension, fantasizing about your woman and what you want to do to her ...the longer the build up the better the resulting orgasm....and ahhh. Freedom of that tension. No more desire. You or your guy just is. Doesn't want to talk/cuddle ect he just wants to revel in his freedom.

1. I like to cuddle and most of the guys I know do too.

2. The same can be said for women and many other DS activities. In fact, the sexual roles of "dominance/submissive" are continuously interchanged during sex. So, the metaphors of male and female are pretty simplistic and misleading. If you want to say passive/active, that would seem appropriate as long as its seen as interchangeable and not static. Meaning no object (the male or the female) can be seen as being predominately passive or active (cultural and situational conditioning may apply but in these cases it can be said that this behavior is a result of conditioning rather than any "essence" of a particular gender).

3. This can be explained in terms of human behavior rather than the male/female dichotomy. When we desire something and it feels as if we've only one step away from obtaining it, we desire it more until we finally obtain it and experience soothing, joyful release from the anxiety our obsession has caused us. This is also used in economic models and advertising models in America:

"You can have this great fantastic experience too, all you need is X".

Then we compulsively and additively chase after X until we obtain it and the cycle repeats itself again. This, however, is mostly addiction and obsession.

(Plus, whenever I've had sex in this state it tends to be disappointing rather than any kind of joyous triumph he describes. lol. Its kind of like buying a new [insert product here] and then becoming disappointed because its not 'as good as you thought'.)

Hmmm. I was taught as a kid that sex was for marriage only. That sex causes disease and can kill you. Sex will also result in a child before you're ready and will kill all of your dreams. Sex before marriage is also a sin according to the bible. If a woman enjoys sex she is a slut. If a guy enjoys sex too much he is a player. Sex should be slow and gentle and done while listening to barry white and being careful not to hurt your partner because they're fragile. These are just a few of my sex hang ups growing up. I'm sure there are many others out there! So by burying my desire for sex due to all of these restriction my desire manifested it;s self in tickling. It's innocent. Hell, I could even say I don't watch porn by watching tickling videos. Look how pure I am!

But seriously....as soon as tickling is linked to sexuality, like we do it, it is just as innocent or non-innocent as sex itself. I realized before I even knew what sex was that tickling was sexual for me, and therefore I got uncomfortable when I was around tickling for a very long time.

If a guy truly cares for a woman and he gives her toe curling orgasms every time...she isn't going anywhere. Hell, I dare you to pick a better way to keep your woman around

As for my relationship with sex....I actually do quite ok! But I will admit that growing up these were the many connotations that came with sex. Each of which had to be overcome with time. It's been many years since i've held those views. Tickling for me(blasphemy warning) was a crutch. Apparently I am the only one. Now that i've gotten over my sexual hangups tickling has resided itself to being a small part of any sexual experience of mine. For a while, back when sex without tickling was...nothing. Couldn't happen. Those days are long gone.

And as for the big bank account.....I guess a contract and cash will keep a woman around better than a man that gives mind blowing orgasms. Hmmm self respect? Lol. I'm just teasing of course. I guess it all depends on where you're from. In my neck of the woods the wealthy guys are plentiful, orgasms are scarce.

Weird....I never had a problem with any of my sexuality except the tickling. 🙂

Self respect can be bought, but not fucked away. 😉
As for orgasms.....most women don't need a guy to get the best orgasms, they do it themselves. 🙂 Of course it's great if you have a great lover, but it's not the most important thing in the world, especially not in a relationship, so if that's all that's good about the guy, it won't last.
