Owing/Running A BDSM/Tickle Torture Club

Ok Comrades, hopefully someone here will know this. How does one open and run a bdsm club such as Paddles and the defunct Vault? If Natasha and I wished to open a club similar to Paddles who have been around for a long time, I think since 1984 and has had no problems obviously since it is still in business and quite profitable from what I understand, how would one go about doing this?
Obviously, our club would cater to all bdsm of course but would be primarily geared to Tickling and Tickle Torture just as Paddles is to Spanking etc.

Ps. I have posted this question directly on Paddles Yahoo site but have yet to get any response.
I am not looking to compete with them just have another like them but focused on Tickle Torture and KGB Interrogation games etc.

I have a working name for the club but I will keep that under wraps for now however it is protected via copyright so that it cannot be hijacked or stolen.
If investors or partners are required, we will discuss that at a later time when needed.

Oh, by the way, I think focusing on tickling won't be a good idea....community isn't big enough imho!

Well first Id imagine youd need to find a location, then get all the relevant permits, decorate it, etc. as far as getting people to come, Advertising and word of mouth would seem to be the way to get people in the door. As a start, Id also talk with the local vid producer here, tickle abuse, blue fetish come to mind immediately but I know there are more, and work a deal with them to use the facilities in exchange for letting their friends know and using them as a draw to get people in the door. Maybe find someone in Marketing to help you advertise.

I can't find the other thread, but what I remember was one thing: to start this off, you need about 100.000 bucks. So unless you got a lot of spare money and time on your hand (it will take a long while before you can actually make money with something like that!) - don't do it.

I think was is this one that you mean rihannon. This one was someone who wanted to open a bdsm dungeon and one of the people who posted a reply had already done it and he went through all of the costs etc...

Well, getting the people to come will not be the hardest part in my mind. I agree with the suggestion talking with vid producers in the area.
Furnishing the place may not be a huge problem either.
Permits, capital to rent and starting it up may be a major issue unless I can hook up with investors or partners or one rich partner...lol.

The Club I am considering will focus on Tickle Torture but also cater widely on other BDSM Activities as well. We will just lean towards tickling, tickle torture activities and KBG Interrogation play and so on .

Spanking is more popular though. Usually I talk to people from the BDSM scene, they don't have a big thing for tickling.

No need to worry. If such a club is established by Natasha and I, it will be known. I am sure the entrance fee will not be such that it would cause people to not come. That would totally defeat the whole purpose.
It would be more or less the same as any other club of its kind.

But hey, we are not even near that chapter let along starting the book yet.

And as far as I remember, those tickling parties were cancelled because they did not attract enough people. But then, the NY tickling scene might be bigger than the one in Berlin, who knows.
