I truly loved his pizza. He was the only pizza CEO was was visible. I hadn't seen any other CEO's doing that besides Wendy's CEO, Men's Warehouse CEO, and Apple CEO.
Unfortunately, both Apple's the Men's Warehouse founders got booted from their own companies by their board of directors. Papa John's CEO stepped down.
But in this link, the media claims he was fired. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/othe...eling-nfl-players-hurt-pizza-sales/vi-BBH8j0v
Amidst all the tall about 1 percents, and CEO compensation, Schnatter hadn't taken a raise in 3-4 years, even after his board was "upset" with him for not taking one.
The guy knew his wealth, and felt he didn't need it. He reminded me of Grant Cardone in that respect. Grant Cardone proudly tells people he leaves his lights on at work and at home
whenever someone tries to tell him he is spending too much money in some area of business. There are people who actually have their houses in order, and can do things others can't afford to do.
Getting back Schnatter, the dude has money. There are CEO's taking pay raises left and right, even when their companies under perform. It's sad that he left because of something he said because
Papa John's pizza sales declined. Steve Ritchie, the Chief Operating Officer/President will take over for Schnatter on Jan. 1, 2018.
There are so many ways to truly make it. A person can start their own company as Schnatter did, work their way up in someone's company as Ritchie did, or invest their money.
Ritchie, 43, started with the world's third-largest pizza delivery company in 1996 as a customer service representative earning $6 an hour, the company said.
