Well, it honestly depends on who does the pedicure. My feet are out-of-this-world ticklish and I've had pedicures that didn't tickle at all (unfortunately). It really is how the technician handles and scrubs your foot. I've had times when it hasn't tickled, times when it's tickled so bad the magazine I was reading on my lap fell into the tub of water, but mostly in between where my foot is involuntarily jerking and I'm laughing, trying to hold it in. Whichever the case, don't be embarrassed by it. It's normal. I've never been in a place that gives them and not had at least one person laughing while they're getting it done.
The upshot is if it doesn't tickle, it can just feel really good, and make your feet pretty. If you get someone who does tickle you and you like it, remember their name and ask for them in the future. I had the best lady who did them when I lived in another state, and I'd wait for her if she was busy or make an appointment.
