Hey guys and gals I am pretty much 100 percent sure I am going to nest next year. I am in south jersey so I will just drive to philly each day most likely. Anyway I see all the appreciation threads with "insdie jokes" and all but I was wondering for the people who were there can tell what happened on the days (fri, sat, sun right) and a little descprition of what went on..thanks!

Hmmm....

Description: We all sat around and talked about how we don't KNOW WHY YOU DIDN'T COME WITH US!!

😛

If you wanna know what happens, you gotta come see for yourself! :triangle: :devil2:

Well mine won't be as fun as most of the folks but here goes...

I'm one of the organizers so I flew in on Wednesday from California and arrived that night after an all day flight.

Thursday I met with Max for breakfast so we could discuss the schedule for the NEST event. Then I went shopping for supplies and ran over and ordered the food and cake for Sunday. Thursday night some other folks had arrived and we hung out in my room visiting and laughing and yes... a little tickling got done. TickleChgo and I picked up Linda at the airport who flew in from the UK and we got back to the hotel and kept the party going until the week hours of the morning.

Friday I picked up Danimal (aka Affectionate Dan) at the airport around 8:30 am. He and I went shopping to get sodas and munchies for the Saturday and Sunday and extra just to keep in my room when folks come to visit. Then it was back to the room for most of the day as I wasn't feeling well. A bunch of the guys packed up the cases of soda and water and munchies and took them over to the club to get a jump on setting up for Sunday. Friday night a bunch of us had dinner at the diner and came back upstairs to party in my room and enjoyed the spectacular Lightning Storm. I was feeling worse so around 10:30 Greg and Mina drove me to the emergency room and there we stayed until around 4 am when I was released feeling NO pain whatsoever thanks to some great drugs they gave me! I got back to the room and collapsed into bed!

I can't believe left off Saturday!!! LOL... ...The only thing I remember about Saturday was the social but especially Seeing Shem and Nightfall and meeting their beautiful daughter Lily who is just as beautiful a baby as you have ever seen. I felt so honored to get to hold her because to me she's like a granddaughter. I've known Nightfall and Shem for many years. I was there at their first NEST! I was there the weekend before they married! and I was there last year when they told us they were planning on starting a family and Voila...there she was! She's just absolutely gorgeous. I'm SO proud of her parents! They are a wonderful couple and they are just the BEST parents! Lily is a lucky little lady!

I truly don't remember what happened after the social. It's all a blur of people coming in and out of the room and getting to bed late! Can someone fill in the blanks here? LOL

Sunday morning - Breakfast with the troops and then off we went to the club where we were having the event. Lots and LOTS of the people pitched in to carry stuff upstairs and help set up... Thank you everyone! When we opened the doors I sat on the first landing and registered everyone and kept an eye on bags and purses left in my care while people went to play. We had several "play" rooms on the first landing and bigger spaces upstairs. I pretty much stayed right there most of the day and avoided trying to climb those steep stairs but my location was prime to enjoy seeing everyone coming and going.

I did get into one tickle fight with RChello. He and I have been threatening each other for many years and he had me jumping all over trying to get away from his ungodly long arms. Just not fair odds for a shortie like me! Then around 6 pm we had the raffle and gave away tapes and magazines and CDs and DVDs donated by our major contributors, beautiful jewelry by Lite and some original artwork from SnailShell.

The party started to ease up and everyone started pitching in to clean up the place. By about 7:30 we were done and we headed over to a restaurant we've frequented many times before where they can handle a group of about 30 or more! We had dinner and then headed back to the hotel.

Once there we seemed to have a traveling road show that went from room to room playing, talking, visiting, laughing and they'd swing back by my room and then move off to another room... It was hysterical! I kept the door open so people could come and go as they pleased and I think just about everyone in the hotel came by the room at least once that night!

Not sure what time I finally went to bed. Once everyone left my room I started to pack for the following days trip home. I left the door ajar so Andy could get in later. He collapsed into his bed and I was already cozy in mine. I woke up long enough that we talked about the weekend and laughed about the fun until we were both snoring away.

Monday morning - I woke up with Andy and Danimal in my room getting ready to get to breakfast. I did some final packing and we headed downstairs. Andy ended up having to leave right away so we said our goodbyes wishing it was hellos instead of goodbyes. Headed over to the restaurant next door and laughed the morning away with the nestlings who just LOVE to wiggle their fingers at me because they KNOW it drives me nuts! And they would even call me on the phone to get my attention and then they'd ALL do it! Dog gone it! LOL

Then back to the room after breakfast to finish packing, disperse the remaining sodas and water and food since there's no way I can take it back to California with me on the plane! It seems the room kept filling up instead of emptying and even after I checked out I came back to the room and we partied for another couple of hours. All that time I was sitting on the sofa getting a magnificent backrub from Ann that literally put me to sleep! She's got magic fingers!

Then it was time to go and we just swept through the room passing out lots of hugs and kisses to everyone. I did ok until I stepped into the hallway and saw Max and Lee, Mike and Big John and Alchemy and Linda and more lining the hallway. It brought tears to my eyes knowing I was leaving again for another year. I tell apart when Max said... "I'm think I'm going to miss you most of all Scarecrow" to the tunes of Lee and others singing "Somewhere over the Rainbow". Then off to the elevator where I also said goodbye to the housekeeping staff who I had befriended that week had spent several hours talking about my travel to India last year. Turns out they are from Bangalore where I had been.

So... that's about it. I'm sure the other folks will have much more interesting stories to tell about their torments and such but this gives you an idea about a week in the life of one of the organizers. Hardly a pinch of tickling but I like it that way. It's one of the reasons I help organize this thing. Keeps me too busy to participate!

ok... enough from me... NEXT!!!!

Oh - one more thing - I made everyone who came into my room look at the pics of my grandson! LOL

What went on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.....and Monday morning???

Catching up with old friends, talking about what's new in their lives, meeting new friends, eating lots of meals at cool restaurants, telling jokes, non stop Monty Python-quoting, group singalongs of old t.v. commercials, shopping at cool stores around the South Street area, carpooling, writing down LOTS of e-mail addresses, tickling, and on Monday morning....lots of tears and hugs goodbye til next year.

And we're already counting down the hours til our 6th NEST appearance next year. :veryhappy :veryhappy :veryhappy :cool2: :cool2: :cool2:

Drew

I arrived about 2 pm Saturday, met thebordmanv in the elevator on the way up, met focus in the hall outside my room, went in my room, realized I forgot my hairbrush, went downstairs to find a place to buy one, saw theboardmanv on the computer, asked if he wanted anything from the drugstore, so he came along for the ride. Bought my brush, back to my room to look presentable and then down to the social. Squinted at name tags, hugged friends from in person and online, listened to stories, played games, got the cool feather pendant Ann made and generally reveled in being amongst friends.

Now, I won't lie. I spent the first 20 or so minutes very nervous and uncomfortable. Many thanks to Focus for hanging with me and giving me a friendly face to talk to. But after that, all was good.

Towards the end of the social, Focus and I headed upstairs for some private play. Then MAJ0718, Italian Touch and thebordmanv and I went to dinner- pizza for them, salad for me (ok, really I ate french fries, but I ORDERED a salad and that has to count for something.) During dinner we talked about everything under the sun, including stem cell research- how about them apples?

After dinner we went back to the hotel pool where we sat as various TMFers came and went. There were "vanilla" people there too (horrors) so tickling was limited but it did occur. Ticklee1973 was there too and Jamie (he has some numbers after his name but I don't know...)

At some point, we drifted apart and then regathered in Jamie's room. We sat around and talked, watched tv and had many many gang tickle events. Various people came and went. Somewhere around 1:30 I went to bed. Didn't sleep much from being all wound up (it wasn't ENTIRELY your snoring, MAJ 😉 )

Got up Sunday morning, gathered again with Italian Touch, thebordmanv and MAJ in my car...Ticklee1973 and Focus followed in their car. I took them on a tour of all the streets around the hotel, then finally found the entrance to 95 and off we went to the street the club was on. There we met up with tons of people and we all had breakfast in a diner across from the club.

Then up to the club where much frivolity and playing occured. I ler'd mostly, but fell victim to a massive gang tickle on the third floor at some point. Knox started it and for this I owe him BIG TIME. Then the raffle, where I had four winning tickets (not bad for a newbie) and got an AWESOME piece of original jewelry crafted by lite. Then sadly I had to leave as I had a dog sitting gig to get to. Next time I'll stay to clean up and continue the fun.

And there you have it...NEST from a newbie's eyes.

Well let's see, I arrived friday afternoon, checked in and ran into venray and Aryin. Then went to the diner where about 8 nestees were munching. We chatted awhile, tracked Bella's progress, eventually headed back up to TkDuo's room where Ann performed a toe flossing demo and I proceeded to let her feet massage my fingers for the next 90min while engaging Kwil and Drew in some good musical discussion. Various folks came and went. After going down again to the diner and visiting with some folks -and being a buffer between bratgirl and waitresszilla, I eventually I ended up in Jan's room where more folks arrived.
I stayed there until about 1am when Dan and I went scrounging for food. At approximately 2am, on 6/3/06, I was victim to one of the cruelest acts against humanity in the history of NEST. The manager of the 24hr diner we found cut two slices of carrot cake. One is clearly bigger than the other. The waitress is holding the bigger slice in the hand that should go to me. As she gets to the table, she CLEARLY switches them, so that Dan gets the bigger slice!!! A more egregious offense I've not endured. Danimal being the gentleman that his is kindly devoured the whole thing!! I can only hope he felt the appropriate amount of remorse.

Saturday I woke up and ambled down to the diner for breakfast, where about a dozen nestees were posted up. We stayed there until the 3 o'clock NEST social. I don't know how long that lasted - but when it ended, Affectionate Dan, Ticklechicago, ArmpitLover and I hauled the refreshments and some equipment to the club for Sunday's event. We got back and I chewed the fat in the parking lot with Babbles, Heather and Big John for awhile. We dropped off Chicago and APLover picked up Viper, Irishgirl, Arian and Alchemy, then headed off in search of the famous cheesesteak stuffed pizza.
When we returned we headed to Jan's room where assorted hi jinx ensued, and then it was on to Jaime's room where all out mayhem was breaking out regularly.

Sunday, I got up and headed to the Club off South Street. More stuff to be hauled up, arranged and rearranged. The event started, 'nuff said. Afterwards we had dinner on south street, near the club with 30+ folks. From there it was back to the hotel.

Monday, I think all the remaining folks had breakfast in the hotel diner, then we put a game plan in place to get everyone who needed rides to the airport. Then there was a contingent who were headed back to south street one last time and a faction headed to Chinatown. In my wisdom, I decided (although I've gotten to be pretty familiar with the city, and knew exactly how to get to Chinatown) to follow and native philadelphia who shall remain nameless. And follow him I did....onto the Ben Franklin bridge and into Jersey and to the Deptford Mall where I got BACK onto the bridge and came back to Philly. As i drove up Arch street, I saw a parking spot open...figured naaah... not the one for me. Then 2 stores from said parking space, I see Max, Lee and Alchemy emerge from a shop. *sigh*
So I figured I'd head to South street and hook up with that group. Passed up a parking spot and a block later, I see Viper, Irishgirl, Jon, Kittentoes and Bella waiting to cross the street. I park, double back and in my search for Bella and the gang, spot the Venrays, The Duos, Kwil, Lite and Bratgirl having lunch. Went to get a water ice, came back to the latter, hung with them, reconnected with the former, went to Jim's for a cheesesteak...ok 2...

went back to the hotel to pick up Lisha, wait for Bella, Jon and Kitten, loaded up, dropped them off at the airport, got back to the hotel, went to Kwil and Lite's room, then headed out to Monk's to meet Max and Jeff for dinner. Met up there with the Venrays, Duos, Bratgirl, Kwil and Lite and ate obscenely rich food until eyelids weighed more than the volume of beer in this pub. Took a group photo...said last goodbye 1 to Max and Jeff. Headed back to the hotel and said last goodbye 2 to Brat, Ann, Drew, Tracy, Ray, Randy and michelle around 2am. Stayed up for my 6am flight - dunno when I exactly went to sleep...somewhere over Ohio is my guess.

During the entire plane ride back I was on my laptop typing furiously about my experience at NEST.

When I was finished, it was over ten pages.

I don't think anyone wants to read ten whole pages, nor would I let them because some it's rather personal, but here's the abridged version.

I got off the plane in Philly around 9:30am on Friday and I'm surprised I could even walk. I was breathing heavy, knees were wobbly, I mean it was my first plane ride and now I was going to actually meet Jeff face to face.

So I meet him and kind of start freaking out. I couldn't even look him in the eye for a good few hours.

We get to the hotel/diner place and meet up with Venray and Tracy and later Linda and it was a little much because they were all so open about everything, and I wasn't used to that at all. So I sat there, kinda quiet.

Venray handed me "Embryo" which cheered me up a little.

We then went to Jan's room where there were even more people and at one point I wondered if this was a good idea. I was feeling a little overwhelmed.

After a bit, we left and I checked in and me and Jeff hung out and watched tv.

Immediately he decided it was a good time to get me back for all the smart assed remarks I had been giving him for the past 8 or 9 months, and I'm glad he did, because it got rid of my nerves a bit.

Later on we checked out the club with Max and Jan and a few others, after which we went to Starbucks and met up with Jonmath and Kittentoes.

Then we looked for someplace to drink, but I ruined everyones fun because I"m underage so we had to go somewhere else.

When we got out it was frick'n pouring, which I kind of liked, I didn't mind getting soaked, but everyone else was kind of aggravated.

Then a few of us hung out in Jeff's room and talked about some of the games that were going to be played at the gathering and then we all left/went to sleep.

That was just Friday.

Saturday I slept in, the meet and greet was at 3, which I went to by myself. Everyone introduced themselves, I met more people like Knox and a few others. Got to see the “Nestling.” We had to fill out this questionnaire thing where you had to ask each person a different question. Whoever answered all of them the fastest won an “LOL” shirt. That was a little annoying at first, in that it felt like middle school and I’m not really good at “mingling” but it wasn’t too bad.

The “diabolical plan” was explained as well as the general rules and regulations of NEST.

After that I went back and hung out with Jeff for a little, then I took a nap, and after that a bunch of us went out.

Came back to the hotel, there was a bit of a “situation” but it was all resolved before I even got out of bed the next day.

Sunday we got up, went to the club, helped set up food and everything.

Then me, IrishGirl, KittenToes, Jonmath, and Jeff went to Passionale where IrishGirl and I were traumatized by the rubber genitalia on the walls. Jonmath bought some kind of lubricant stuff, and then we went back to the club. (Jesus Christ those stairs were suicide. Did anyone actually fall down them? If not, I’m surprised.) People started filing in. At first I just hung out on the couch with a few people, ate a little, then I watched Max and Jeff’s video, which was interesting. I was then assigned to wear a pair of red leather handcuffs and hold a stick with a fake fingernail attached to the end of it.

Went back to the main room, watched the game of “Distraction” and a few demos. Then Jeff, Knox, me and a few others went to this awesome little shop to get a fruit smoothie. I have no idea what was in it, but it was good.

Then I was ganged up on by Lee, Max, Knox, and maybe Jeff, I don’t know. I couldn’t see because I have this habit of hiding my face, or at least trying to, when being tickled. That went on for a good fifteen minutes and afterwards I looked like utter crap, but that’s life and it was fun.

Then I just kind of sat and collected myself. Everyone went to watch Jonmath and Kittentoes’ demo. I’m mad I missed it.

Then there was the raffle.

“1940. The year most of you were born.”

After that, everyone started leaving and most of us went to some restaurant with a picture of Larry from the Three Stooges on the sign.

That was fun.

Then it was back to the hotel for socializing.

Me and Irishgirl tried Scotch. It is still my opinion that Scotch is an old man drink and smells like piss.

TikleDuoAnn gave Max a huge Eagle-Bear pipe and we tried it out in Jeff’s room.

Max recorded Jeff tickling me and made it his ringtone for a day.

Then I fell asleep for a while.

Everyone left.

I woke up and hung out with Jeff.

And went completely insane. I started talking in a Russian accent and got pretty hysterical and couldn’t stop laughing even though nothing was happening. It was pretty funny.

Finally went to sleep around like 3 or 4am.

Woke up the next day for Breafast.

I had Lucky Charms.

Bella had the burnt skin of an old man’s back.

And our waitress had a swollen hand.

After our two hour breakfast, we went back to Jan’s room for a little, said goodbye to some people, then we went back downstairs, said more goodbyes and then we went to Chinatown.

We went to one Chinese grocery store that frick’n had Koala Yummies. I don’t know if anyone remembers those, but they are the best frick’n food of my childhood. I should have bought some.

We saw blowfish fruit, live frogs, and a bunch of other weird stuff.

Then it was off to the airport where I said goodbye to Max and Jeff and cried my eyes out.

Fin.

Just few thoughts that I'd like to share with people who hadn't been to a gathering before, are curious, and wondering how it is to attend it for the first time.

OPEN LETTER TO THE NESTee "TO BE"

I have not previously met anybody who was attending NEST not had taken part to any other sort of gathering. Passing by the doors with the screen-names attached on really felt like being in a hall-of-fame, but as Bella pointed out, as soon as the room door slammed closed and I dropped the carry-on baggage on the floor the first thought was "ok, I am here. It's 11.05, the opening meeting is after lunch. Now what?".

The trick is what Alchemy said: don't stay in your room. Walk out, find other ones... interact. It's not time to be shy, nor being pushy. I found myself wandering in the corridor, overhearing some action going on behind few doors (which is still frustrating at that time), and then going down to the restaurant, snooping in and see if you could "spot" someone... and I did (it already happened in the airport with Milagros: he probably saw me in my very nervous state while waiting for the shuttle...). The key is SPEAKING, be social... at the end of the first meeting you still find yourself in the middle of the room while small groups of old-time friends speak together or walk out of the room - hell knows where! - and you think "well... there are no scheduled activity till tonight... again... "now what?". But you know? you are not the only newbie there and all the ones I spoke with shared more or less the same feelings of fear of being out of the loop: sit down and start a conversation! Keep it cool! And if a conversation dries out with somebody, keep getting around: we are not meant to be immediately "friends" of all the NESTees.
It's a social event and I felt very welcome and I would say that it was impressive how fast I got to know people, had good conversations (and, as it is supposed to happen in any environment where civilized persons are, the best conversations I had were not tickling-related) and establish a friendship-feeling with a core of attendees.
Most of the newbies I spoke with - and myself - felt the fire of the novelty of NEST and the urge to "keep every single moment worth": you want to know people, socialize, but also "jump into the scenes" as fast as you can. NEST is like a box of candies for a child: you want it all and you want it now! Of course, you cannot eat the whole box, but NEST is full of candies. No way you'll be starving. So stay active, be yourself and keep it cool: you'll get your share.

Weird feelings: having a set of rules to play during the gathering, which is the standard procedure for any event of this sort but, if you haven't ever attended a gathering, the idea of "asking permission" (which is bottomline and 100% sound and civil) and the fear of doing something that might be considered abusive, can make you unconfortable for few moments. Take a big breath, cope with that and just remember to say "May I?". For those of us who do not have the blessing of having a partner or friend(s) who share our interest it is so connaturated to slide in the casual poke (what else can we do?), or the expectation of being told "Ah no... don't..." (not to mention the possible replies to the question: "Can I tickle you?" or even worse: "Can you tickle me?"). OK, get out from that frame of mind. Chances are that you are more than welcome. And if not, not a big deal, as you don't have to be social with every single partecipant you do not have to play with anyone there... it's a large crowd... just move on and take it easy, it's really not a big deal.

Most refreshing feelings: tickling is NOT an issue. You do not have to explain it, suggest it, wonder if it will be "understood" or, even worse "accepted" (how much judgment behind that word when contestualized...). Everybody is on the same boat. OK, of course this is the way that it is meant to be but still it is SOOO refreshing.

Tips: during the party there is a helluva action, which is damn good and peculiar (unless you have a St Andrews' cross and stocks in the living room...), but the MOST of the action will happen in the rooms when the social is over (before or after the events). The word speaks for itself: it's social... there is tickling, food, games, demos, videos... enjoy them all, and enjoy the people there!

As Bella and Alchemy said: let people know in advance that you'll be there cannot harm. Scream it in the forums!!!!!

Well, rambling is over!

NEST....Hmmmm

It is the largest gathering of ticklephiles in the known universe. To say the least....it is a laugh a minute, quite literally. I didnt play much myself (yeah right). It is definately an experience that lasts with you. The people you meet are truly good people and want you to have the best time possible. I have been going since the second one and it only gets better with time. My only regret, missing the first one!

Jamie

For a guy who doesn't even speak english as his native tongue, this is the best description of the newbie NEST experience that I've ever seen. I wish I had had this the first time I went.

Well, rambling is over!

I drove to Philadelphia Sunday morning for the big event. I was pleased to find a good parking spot fairly close to the nameless bondage club. I call it that because the previous 4 NESTS were at clubs that all had names: The Kama Sutra, Paradise Alley, The Tannery, and Ulana's. This club was simply a door in an alley off South Street and nobody knew if it even had a name.

When I arrived, I saw 5 or 6 folks hanging outside. The first person I recognized was EDV, whom I remembered from NEST 02 and from last year's NEST. I shot the breeze with Ed, and then with a fellow named Chris, who is also from the DC area. I also saw a young woman who I know I'd seen at a previous NEST or two, but didn't know her name. Later, I found out that she was none other than TickleJen. As I was about to enter the room, the incredibly beautiful Bratgirl365 greeted me with a hug. I've seen Bratgirl at every NEST I've attended and she always looks awesome. She introduced me to ScottG, a really cool guy with whom I've had the pleasure of talking in the TMF chatroom.

The door of the club is at the foot of an extremely steep and narrow stairway. These are the same stairs Ticklish Giggle mentioned, and I'd have to agree with her. They were an accident waiting to happen. At the second floor, Jan Weaver was there greeting people and taking payments. Jan is the kind of woman who just lights up a room, and this year was no different. She was her awesome self, to the delight of us all. Behind this little area there were two other rooms connected by a hallway. The first was what Feathery described as the "Medical Examination Room." The other was a room that had a massage table equipped with sturdy eye hooks to which restraints were attached. On the opposite side of the room and built into the wall was an X shaped cross, not to be confused with the portable X-cross that has become a staple of NEST events.

After scoping out this floor, I went back to the stairway from hell and climbed up to the third floor. There was a kind of narthex area where food and drinks were displayed. It was a very hospitable setup with salads, meats, cheeses, and bread for sandwiches. After all, tickling is hard work for both givers and receivers! 🙂 Right about this time, Venray presented me with Scanner, a little furry monkey that Ray and Tracy stuffed for me. There was another hall up here. To the right was a fairly empty room that was set up with a TV and DVD player. For some reason, the movie Poltergeist was playing. Later, it was playing some awesome TC videos. I remember seeing Priscilla James tickling a ticklish beauty.

At the end of the hall on the third floor was the biggest room in the place. This is where Lee Allure's stocks were assembled and set up. As I entered this room, it was already full of people. I saw Jeff sitting with Ticklish Giggle on the couch on the far side of the room. I also saw Knox who waved to me. I found a spot on the floor next to the wall and sat down next to Feathery and his stunning wife, Jill. Shortly after Jonmath and Kitten Toes walked in. Jon is a long time regular for NEST, and is known for his spectacular wardrobe. He was dressed in what looked to me like English fox hunting attire. Kitten Toes was resplendent in a red corset and very minimal lingeree that completely bared her lovely ass, which I recognized immediately from the "assets" thread. Guys, as good as she looks in those pictures, they don't compare to seeing her in real life. She's absolutely breath-taking.

After hanging out in the big room for a while and talking to some folks, I decided to go back downstairs to where the bondage table was. When I got there, Italian Touch was strapped down, and being tickle tortured by LK70, TickleJen, and a couple of other ladies. Let me just say that LK70 is one pretty lady who really knows how to tickle and seems to enjoy it as much as she does being tickled. She was delightfully ruthless and determined.

I knew from past experience, that if I wanted to get tickled, I had to make it happen early on. I spoke to both Tracy and Lite who were both interested in tickling me. Right at that moment though, Feathery and Jill were circling the table, and it was clear she was interested in being tickled. I was more than happy to hook her up with my never-been-used restraint kit, which includes two thick leather wrist cuffs, and even thicker ankle cuffs. I bought these from E-bay. I also had four 3-foot chains each of which was equipped with a fastener at each end. With a little help, I had Jill on the table, with wrists and ankles restrained. While Ler'ing isn't my passion, it's something in which I've been developing an interest over the last couple of years. With help from some of the other guys, I tickled Jill and had her laughing and squirming. Jill was dressed in a stunning shiny black miniskirt and fishnet hose, and made quite a site on that table. Since she was new at this, I made sure to stop the collective tickling every so often to make sure she was comfortable and willing to continue. I tickled her upper body, while others concentrated on her feet. She was awesome. When she'd had enough, all the guys stopped immediately, and helped me release her.

Then it was my turn on the table. 😀 I donned the wrist and ankle cuffs with assistance from LK70. RChello was in the room and said, "Hey Drew, hang on, I'll go get Angie, and introduce her to you." He disappeared out of the room. Once I was securely bound, the tickling started. LK70 slipped off my sandals and began gliding her fingernails over my left foot, and then my right. Tracy (Mrs Venray) was standing on my left while LK70 stood on my right. They were tickling my tummy, ribs, and armpits with remarkable effectivity. Lite didn't have her glove this year, but she had some vibrating gadget she was tickling me with. It didn't take long to get me into full hysterics.

Then RChello was back, with a pretty red-haired lady. "Drew, this is Angie. Now she's not very good at tickling, she's still learning."

"Hi," Angie smiled, and wasted no time. She ravaged my feet and the back of my knees. I was laughing insanely, struggling, and flinching constantly.

"Hey Drew," RChello said. "I'll help you out, buddy, as soon as I finish my drink."

I was going crazy. As if I didn't have enough to keep me busy, Lee Allure was suddenly next to me, grabbing my knees. Guys, Lee is the quintessential tickler. It's what she does. It's who she is. While all the ladies of NEST are awesome ticklers, Lee is to tickling like Jimi Hendrix is to guitar. That's no exaggeration.

"Still working on my drink, Drew!" RChello called over to me. Through my tears, I could see across the room, LK70 was now tickling Snail Shell on the X-shaped cross built into the wall.

Lite began ticking my neck with that vibrating toy of hers. Tracy was still tickling my tummy and armpits. Angie was moving all around, from my feed to my knees, to my pockets. She was looking for the payload, and buddy, she found it! I arched my back and howled to the moon.

"Drew, if you'd just hold still and let us do our job," Lite was saying in her inimitatable lilting tickle-teasing voice. "But you keep moving around, making it difficult, and we have to start over." Lee Allure was sawing a feather between my toes. She asked me if it tickled. As far as I know, this was the first time, I'd ever experienced this. It tickled, but not unbearably so. I'm far more vulnerable to scribbling fingers, and rib-rubbing.

"Almost done with my drink, Drew!" RChello assured me. Tickler Bart walked into the room and with hilarious mock indignation, cried, "What the hell is going ON HERE?!! What kind of place IS THIS???"

Then Maria (Bratgirl) was next to me saying "Hiiii, Drew" Her fingers danced on my chest and sides, adding to the chorus of tickle torture that was already beyond anything I thought I'd ever be able to take. Every now and then, i'd start coughing. I don't smoke, so I wasn't sure why I kept having coughing fits. Later, Knox explained that when you're on your back like that, all of the "junk" shifts into the lungs and causes it. The coughing would last only a second or two, and the ladies would let me recover. Then with fearful reluctance I'd say, "Okay, I'm ready."

Right about that time, Jamie came in the room and announced a demonstration to take place upstairs. Most everybody left. For the next half hour or so, I was tickled by Mrs Knox, who is quite the Ler. Knox hung out with us while she tickled me. She used her nails expertly, tickling in unobvious places like arms, elbows, and the sides of my face. She even tickled the palms of my hands. I don't know where I was getting it, but I just kept producing the laughter. After a long time, she began to get tired, so we called it a day. She released me, and I sat up and caught a huge head rush. Rather than stand up right away, I drank some water and just sat there until I recovered. Then I was fine.

I grabbed a sandwich and a soda after that and basically wandered around the place, talking to people. Once person I was really glad to get to know a little better is TickleJen. She's a really cool and fun person to hang with, not to mention good looking. I gave her a massage an intermingled it with tickling. She was sitting in a chair and had her fingers interlocked behind her neck. I stood behind her, forcing her to remain in this position while Chris and I tickled her sides, hips, and tummy. At another point in the day, I saw, Jeff, Max, and Lee all ganging up on Ticklish Giggle. My impression was that Mairead was having a great time, but was a little overwhelmed. Considering all that was new to her, I was pretty impressed with how well she held together.

Back downstairs, in the Medical Examination Room, RChello, Angie, and I were playing a game. One of us would hang from the Iron bar near the ceiling, while Angie would tickle us. The goal was that she had thirty seconds to make us let go of the bar over our head. I held out, but just barely. She's a really REALLY good tickler and you can tell by the smile on her face, she LIKES it! Of course, when it was her turn, RChello and I both tickled her, and though it tickled her like crazy, she held on for the 30 seconds.

Upstairs we gathered for the Raffle and to hear some words from Max and Jan. You know, without getting sappy, there is some real love for those two felt by all of us. When people say that NEST is like a family reunion, that's no exaggeration. There's a bond there that is very powerful. I feel like these people are brothers, sisters, and cousins.

After the raffle, I collected my goods and went downstairs and outside. I said good bye to the folks. MTP Jeff is one cool guy. He kept wanting me to go back to the hotel with everybody and hang out. "How can you just...leave?" I explained that I had a long drive ahead of me and that it was already after 7 pm.

On the way home I stopped and ate dinner at The Waffle House on the border of Maryland and Delaware, right off I-95. One cool thing I love about the drive to and from Philly is the Fort McKinley Tunnel which takes I-95 under the Baltimore Harbor. Then it was the Capital Beltway, I-270 and home sweet home. I slept like a baby that night. 😀

HA HA Very funny Terorizer I hmmmmm meant to do that, Yeah 🙄 :cool2:

Hmmmmm.....ok, now that I've had time to process things a bit.....

Drew was lucky enough to be able to switch his day off from Memorial Day to Friday. So, instead of leaving Friday night and arriving very late like last year, we had a relaxed drive down and were in well before dinner time...and the storms. We checked in and let a couple of the folks know we'd arrived. We never did get to unpack. We went down to the diner to say hello and grab a quick bite to eat. Then we headed back to the room. We started out with Ray & Tracy coming up with us. Soon, we had about 20 people there. We just hung out and got caught up a bit. Jamie snuck in and tried to attack me at one point, only to get as good as he gave. We wrapped things up in there around 10 and went down to grab some dinner only to realize that the diner closes at 10. Oooops! lol

On Saturday, a few of us took off for South St. to grab a late breakfast and shop around a bit. We had fun goofing around in some of the shops and got a look at where the club was for the gathering. Then we headed back to help get things set for the social. That was really cool, esp. with the addition of the game Max had come up with to help people get to know one another. We also got to meet Shem and Nightfall's beautiful baby girl. What a little doll!

After the social, we wandered the rooms for a few, gabbing with folks who'd just arrived. Then, we went downtown to grab dinner and join a few friends at a local bar, where Drew and I proceded to tickle the night away to the wonderful music being played. It was late when we got back to the hotel. So, we just gabbed for a bit and then called it quits.

Sunday morning, we grabbed passengers heading downtown early and had breakfast near the club. As we were finishing up, we learned that we could get into the club earlier than expected. So, it was off to the car to grab the goodies and our toy bag. When we got back, we helped get things set up and the gathering was soon underweigh. As I tended to food tables, I tried to catch up with those I hadn't seen in a while and introduced myself to those I had yet to meet. I had a few great conversations, gave some (I'm told) great massages and enjoyed previewing videos and observing the games and other activities going on. At one point, I decided that I needed a break. So, Drew and I, Ray & Tracy, Jeff and Gigs went to this great little shop for a smoothie. Shortly after our return, the evil plot of the abduction took place. I was busy giving Danimal a massage. But, I hear it went very well and fun was had by all. Then the game of distraction and the raffle drawings took place. After that, it was time to start picking up.

Once we had everything and had cleared the club, 33 of us ended up across the street at Jon's for dinner. When we got back to the hotel, we went to Jans room to hang out for a while. I ended up presenting Max with a gift I'd made him. That led to half of the gang shifting to another room to try it out. We all got really silly and started singing commercial jingles and stuff and just having a grand time. At one point, Drew was holding Gig's arms for Max while he tortured her. I decided to *ahem* help her out by attacking Drew only to have Jeff come to Drew's rescue by attacking me. I think we were there in his room until about 1am. But, don't quote me on that. We weren't really caring about time at that point. We were having too much fun.

Whatever time it was that we left, Drew and I ended up back in our own room where he totally killed me as I thrashed and gasped for breath. Even though it was "some of US" in the rooms on either side, I was trying my best to be quiet in case anyone was actually sleeping....which I highly doubt. lol We finally called it quits around 2:30.

Monday morning, we joined the gang down in the diner as they grabbed a bite to eat. Then *sniff, sniff* it was time to say good-bye to much of the gang. We ended up in Jan's room where those of us not wanting to leave yet laughed and cried and joked around for the next couple of hours. While we were in there, we had a number of quick little sneak tickles and gang attacks that were a lot of fun. I was pretty beat. So, after a while, I went over to give Jan a nice massage (I find it relaxing as well) and sat there just enjoying watching everyone while she fell asleep.

Once everyone had cleared Jan's room, we went downstairs for more good-byes. Then, a few of us who were staying an extra day went downtown again to wander the stores. We went back to the smoothie shop, this time staying to relax and wait out the evenign rush hour before heading back to the hotel. While at the shop, I ended up giving the owner (a delightful, though smart-mouthed Moroccan gentleman of about 70) a quick tickle attack for mouthing off to me. 😀 We went back to the hotel to freshen up and then headed back downtown to join Max & Jeff for a late dinner at a local English style pub. When we got back, Drew & I ended up going to Ray & Tracy's room for a few to unwind. Then, it was off to bed.

Tuesday morning, we went to grab a quick breakfast and hit a music shop that Drew hadn't gotten to yet. While he and Ray looked around there, Tracy & I walked down the block to check out the used book store we like. Then, it was off to Max's house to drop off the leftover food and hang on for dear life to the last remnants of the weekend before heading home. While there, we heard from Jonathan and Vonnie who'd been bumped from their flight the night before and wanted to visit a bit more before their new flight. So, they came and joined us. We all just relaxed, talked about some of our favorite gathering moments and clowned around a bit. Then, it was time to go. We said good-bye quickly, before anyone could start balling and headed home. :dropatear :idontwann

I suppose I should also mention (befoe some other smartass does) that I was totally hyper and paranoid on Tuesday. Drew, Ray & Tracy were driving me nuts wiggling their fingeres and poking at me. I even ran away at one point, much to Ray's surprise. :scared: :evilha: 'Tis a shame we don't have any fun!

It was a grand weekend!!! But.....

WE MISSED THOSE WHO WEREN"T THERE!

IrishGirl and I were traumatized by the rubber genitalia on the walls.then we went back to the club. (Jesus Christ those stairs were suicide. Did anyone actually fall down them? If not, I’m surprised.)

Me and Irishgirl tried Scotch. It is still my opinion that Scotch is an old man drink and smells like piss.

seriously traumatized..there were things i thought id never see, so we both kept our eyes focused on devil horns and the mechanics of how they stayed in your hair...

those stairs were a BI@TCH!!! lol

the scotch actually burnt my thorau im still recovering from it, it hurts to yawn, swallow and just everything...seriously "feels like a virus spreading" is exactly how it felt...it tasted like crap too, as you can probably tell in some NEST pic somewhere on here, i look like im eating shit lol

Irishgirl5, You are so brave and such a trooper I'm surprised that some silly little rubber toys would bother you. Everybody whether they admit it or not has their own kink. In Finland I saw a rubber blow up cow and an Alien in the window of a sex shop. You may not believe me, so you know what, I'm going to post the picture 😱 .
I'm not a big fan of scotch either but single malt whiskey is much smoother and tastes better too.

After being tickled constantly for almost four days, I'm feeling a little bit of withdrawal.

:dropatear

Interesting question - I've never really thought about all the stuff which goes on.

My NEST started Thursday night, when I drove in from Massachsetts
in the pouring rain and thunderstorm. I made good time, only 5.5
hours. I arrived at Max's house, where I was staying, and watched
a DVD until Max & Andy showed up. We chatted, hung out, and finally
got to sleep around 3 am.

Friday meant a trip to Lowes after breakfast to get some last minute
hardware for the stocks, which made the trip down in my trunk. We
ran a few other errands, and then parted ways with Max, so Andy & I
could head to the airport to pick up John & Sugar. Who knew that
arrivals were in the same space as departures...? We headed back to
the house and met up with Max, grabbed a bite, then the lot of us headed to South street to visit the venue, and meet with the rest of the early group.
After that, we went to Starbucks, picked up a few more folks, and decided to grab a bite to eat. Charming pictures of Mairead, Kittentoes and Sugar were taken over dinner. We headed to the hotel, where folks were hanging out
in Jan's room, and I hugged so many old friends (and even noticed a few soon to be new ones) it was like getting a massage. And then I was given one of those 🙂

Saturday morning John, Andy, Sugar and I worked on the stocks,
then John & Max took a quick trip to the Amish Market to pick up
some amazing chicken sausage, and we ate and worked and made a
sawdusty mess all over. We headed to the hotel a little late for the social,
and then hung out til the pool party. I was asked to take part in a group
tickling of Linda "because she's not expecting it, and I want to see her face when you walk in" - MK. That was a blast, and I got to spend time also with
both Focus & Tommy, who were a lot of fun. After a couple of hours of
reconnecting, I headed down to Jan's room, noticed that EdV was in,
and said hello to him in one of my favourite ways. There was a lot of that
going on with all sorts of folks. It's a nice change from the early NESTs,
where no one started tickling anyone else until the first Demo!

I had planned on going back to work on the stocks, but managed to get
dragged out on Saturday night. Most fun I noticed was Golas with a bunch
of girls, Bella with a waitress, uh, -dancing-, a lot of spontaneous camera work,
and Trixie telling me she had just seen the guy whom she and I tickled in
the bar, last year. Later, I learned that he had asked Max about our group.
It's nice to be able to convert total strangers... 😉 It was POURING again,
and we were all milling around waiting for it to let up. Sometimes I'm the
impatient one, and I ended up walking the many blocks to my car, driving
back, and then heading home to sleep. Again, a very late night!

Sunday morning we spent working on the stocks again, a few last minute
touches. We made it to the club, unloaded, found relatively close parking
(which was a small miracle in and of itself). Putting the stocks back together
for the first time was interesting, but fortunately we brought the power tools 🙂
NEST was a good time of watching folks play safely, assisting with a
kidnapping, and reconnecting with friends. I also (very graciously, thank you
Dan & Snail) was the recipient of original artwork in the raffle. Afterwards,
some of us ( ok, a lot of us) went to dinner, and then back to the Hotel.
More love, tickling, laughter. And getting people in the elevator. 🙂

Monday was back to the hotel diner for breakfast, which was a fun, loose
affair, with people wandering in, eating, leaving, and more coming in.
Lots of hugs going on, and thanks to Drew for his Silk City Shirt.
More goodbyes (it's the hardest part, really) and tickling while we waited
to take people to the airport. After checking mail in the hotel lobby,
and talking a bit with Viper, Irish and Alchemy, Viper decided he had
to leave to go somewhere. "For how long?" I asked. he seemed to think
that he'd be gone at least 10 minutes, and Alchemy & I took complete
advantage of Irish, I mean of the fact that Viper left Irish all alone and
unprotected, to tickle her. We apparently converted a priest to the
tickling way of life when he said "I'm next" 🙂

After that came some wonderful goodbyes and singing in the hallway,
and then a trip to Chinatown pre-airport, which was too-short and fun,
where I was fortunate to get to spend more time with Alchemy, Max,
Mairead, and Jeff, ALTHOUGH... we would also have spent time with
Mike and a few others, had SOMEONE not decided to take a short
trip to NJ... After more tearful goodbyes at the airport, we headed
back to Max's, and I hung out til about 8, when I left to go home. That
trip there, which took 5.5 hours? I was SO exhausted on the way home
that I had to stop twice for naps, and ended up home at 5 am, showered,
then went to work. Where I nearly fell asleep all day long 😉

Oh, and thank you to Trixie, who lent me her pink "tickled" shirt to
wear, after I got caught in the rain. *hug*

I'm longing for more. More tickling, more NEST, more gatherings and
definitely, more love and laughter!

For a guy who doesn't even speak english as his native tongue, this is the best description of the newbie NEST experience that I've ever seen. I wish I had had this the first time I went.

Whoa! Thanks Jeff!
Your positive feedback is VERY MUCH appreciated and thanks for understanding/acknowledging that expressing yourself in a non-native language is sometimes tricky and/or complicated (not to mention the grammar...)

It was a pleasure knowing and meeting you and, also, I did have a good time Sunday night in the room.
Hope there will be even more chances of interaction next year.
