Just curious. Have any of you had good tickling experiences and/or found willing ticklees via the personal ads?

In a word....no. I've placed a couple of ads there and neither resulted in any responses. On top of that I've never seen any posts there made by a female, either responding to or placing an ad of her own. To be honest, I don't think any female ticklees even go there, because unlike us it's not exactly difficult to find a "tickling friend" for fun, casual tickling or otherwise.

It's sad, (for us anyway) but I don't think it's a situation that's gonna change any time soon.

clarification

I'm not specifically referring to personal ads which emphasize "seeking a ticklish woman". I just mean it's been tough to meet people in Seattle.

No mate, I have had no sucess or any responses to any personals ads.

I have.

(*dun dun DUN....*)

Back before I wound up eternally bound to my soul mate (IE, when I was single) I was under the impression that unless I surfed the Internet, I was never going to get a date. (Said soul mate was also found on the Internet, BTW.)

My stomping grounds of choice were the Yahoo! Personals. I would basically just do a search for anyone in my state within my desired age range (18-25 at the time) and then E-mail them a short, funny monologue about how much they really wanted to meet me. After all, anyone who could safely say they were "more fun than a bucket of squid" had to be worth looking into, right?

I had my share of hits and misses, but toward the end I decided, for the halibut, to just seek out willing tickle partners. I didn't change my methods; all I did was alter my Yahoo profile to be filled with tickling double entendres. (this profile can be viewed at profiles.yahoo.com/makeugiggle if you're curious.) The women generally drew their own conclusions, but I never approached them about tickling right off the bat. I waited until we became friends and THEN let the other shoe drop (pun intended?). More often than not, I was successful, and a surprising number of women (at least, the ones I'VE met, lest I accidentally paint a generalization some here take offense to) were relieved to find out that tickling was "all" I wanted, and I wasn't trying to stampede my way into their pants like apparently everyone else who was responding to their ads.

Ironically enough, my wife is not into my "thing"; I met her via Yahoo Personals but it was my "normal" profile that got her, not the tickling one. I also met my best friend (and surrogate "big sister") through Yahoo Personals; she's been a close friend of the family for about six years now.

So, there ya go. Am I the exception to the rule? Maybe. But somebody has to rile the status quo once in a while. 😀

Phineas, I'm glad you posted that. I found it interesting reading and who know, I might even end up trying some of your methods myself. I don't hold out much hope of finding someone into tickling in England though; the girls seem far more reserved that American girls. I guess I'll have to keep thinking of ways to get that greencard. LOL

Once again mate, thanks for those comments. Interesting stuff.
