Just curious as to if anybody has had any success in either of these sections in hooking up with or having any worthwhile correspondence with anyone or is it mostly a waste of time and effort.

Yes, twice in the meeting and playing department. Personally, I feel like I was extremely lucky. I know well how that type of thing does not happen every day, so I count my blessings. I still encourage people to try, though. You never know what could happen.

I've had a few successes. I met my current ler thru the personals section three years ago. It's harder for men looking for women to meet and potentially play with, but overall it takes patience to weed thru the ones who are serious and the ones who aren't. 🙂
