Philadelphia Eagles Player Riley Cooper Uses The "N" Word..

Forum members may have heard of the disgraceful actions of Philadelphia Eagles player Riley Cooper.. who was shown on video using the dreaded "N" word.

Mr Cooper has apologized for his actions, and has supposedly been fined by the Eagles. However, WPVI reporters interviewed fans, some of whom don't think the punishment was enough, and that Cooper should be cut by the team.

Jim Gardner and the WPVI news team have discussed this incident at length over the past two nights.

Personally, even though he has apologized, and been fined by the Eagles, I think that the NFL as a whole should further sanction him. My thought would be perhaps to suspend him for a length of time, either half the season, or one full season.

Honestly if Paula Deen can lose her job for saying it 20 years ago then so should this guy... Problem with that is he's a sports player... So he will get a slap on the wrist. It's crap like this that makes me sick... Unfortunately this is the society we live in.

If the Philadelphia Eagles could eventually forgive and then embrace a player that killed, tortured and maimed 75 dogs then they should somewhere down the line be able to do the same for a drunken Riley Cooper.
