Well, it finally happened. A manager was finally fired for the first time in 2013, with the dismissal of Charlie Manuel as Phillies manager today, and the hiring of Ryne Sandberg.

I feel for Charlie, as it was not his fault the Phillies filled their team with overpaid players well past their prime.
