phots from crusing altitude

i had a window seat coming home from texas yesterday nd i was able to get some really cool photos. the first few are cloud shadwos along with a really cool horizon photo and the rest are, what i beliebe may be, parts of the grand canyon. they came out pretty good considering i was on a plane and the photos were taken with my phone. hope you enjoy!

yeah i liked them because it looks like it's clouds and bodies of water on the ground, which they aren't, of course. but i just though it looked cool and it caught my eye right away. i have a bunch more photos like that that you might like on my myspace if you'd like to check them out:

Ah right I see, I couldn't remember myself, but I always keep my phone off during a flight thats probably where I'm getting confused.

typically you aren't allowed to have phones on during a flight at all, however, a lot of phones are being made now with what is called "stand alone mode" which basically means you can play games or listen to music on your phone but you can not make or receive calls, text messages, IM's or use the internet. i simply used my phone to snap those photos in stand alone mode and then i shut it off. 🙂 hope that helps clarify. but glad you guys liked the photos 🙂
