Picnic weather! Yes!

We just came back from a glorious picnic at the park. A bit windy, but we had the radio from the car to keep such lovely music flowing. With sandwiches packed into my old lunchbox from kindergarten along with a pair of Fun Dips, we set out to grab drinks and chips. Ah, this afternoon could last a week and I would be happy. I cannot express how glad I am that spring is finally come.

Sounds like a lot of fun.I don't think I ever went on a picnic.I wish we could on our lake front but they do not allow food or drinks.

I'm getting a burn from staying outside so much. Gotta watch that. Accuweather says snow is coming back soon, so that will suck greatly.

Kindergarten lunchbox? Dare we ask what long-departed culture icon is on it? I think I had a Scooby Doo one once, but it's sure to be a pile of rust by now.

I know how you feel. It was around 70 here today in Baltimore and is expected to remain the same all weekend. I am definitely loving that. 🙂

While we had nothing like some of y'all did this winter, we still had a MUCH colder one than we are typically used to down here, and I too am glad that it's picnic weather again. I haven't actually been on a true picnic in years, but I think I'll surprise the new girl I'm seeing with one. :happy:
