First of all this 9 minute clip is going to be unlike anything you will have seen before.
Now the history bit. Pina Bausch is a German Dance Choreographer, and I saw this opera just the one time on telly back in 1985. Now living in the Tickle desert of that time, this whole thing seared itself into my mind, to the extent that I never forgot it. I have also often tried to search online to see if I could find any of it or anything about it (without success), that is until last night. Then lo and behold the whole opera in 12 parts is on You Tube. I have gone through all the other 11 parts, but this is the part with the real action (which starts at around the 1.55 mark), then stops and carries on to a lesser degree further in.
You may all think this is nothing or the weirdest thing you have ever seen, but it has completed a circle for me.
