playboy faces age discrimination

John Rezak was fired after working as a Playboy associate managing editor for over 30 years and is now suing Playboy Enterprises for age discrimination. Rezak, 54, claims the magazine wanted to attract readers from the 18-34 demographic and they believed hiring a younger staff and getting rid of the older staff was the only way. He is seeking unspecified damages, including back and future pay.
