can anyone suggest a good media player that will play most of the used media files (wmv, mpeg, rm) and are deletable

Windows Media Player 10 is the obvious choice for wmv and other Windows files.

I suggest Real Alternative for Realmedia files. It is not invasive like Realplayer, it is simply a file player. Nor frills or annoying popups.
