Simple advice: don't ever call a George-Brazil-affiliated plumbing shop for any plumbing work if they have operations in your neck of the woods.

Similarly, don't ever call Dial One for anything if they have operations in your neck of the woods.

Use local independents.

As the former daughter of a plumber... I say you're right...my dad never fixed anything around the house he said he was way too expensive....lol 🙂 :sowrong: 😀
 
Ticklemmmeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (geez, I never know when to stop with the 'e' thing) I don't object to paying reasonable prices to have work done, but the Brazil contractor I dealt with recently was just a rch short of running a scam, and that I do object to.

The Dial One contractor I dealt with several years ago for some air conditioning work WAS running a scam, pure and simple.

I'll never deal with either one of them again.
