Podiatry; training required?

I'd like to become a podiatrist (one who treats foot disorders) so I can have the opportuniny to caress and tickle female feet.

Most of my work will probably not involve tickling, but once a month or so I may get lucky and get a female client who wants to have a good laugh and asks me to tickle her feet.

What training is involved to become a podiatrist?

Here you go a website on podiatrist training

Podiatrists are doctors. Also, you know people who go to podiatrists have problems with their feet. Its not like you're going to be getting attractive women coming in for podiatric "check-ups" or anything. You'll get old people and people with (for lack of a better word) "fuckedupities"

Im a little surprised no one has posted this

My man, if this is a joke or a fantasy, that's cool. But I promise you, if you get caught doing anything to a woman she doesnt want done to her in an medical office setting, have a good lawyer with you.

I totally agree with Dajerx.
I'm a certified Reflexologist. I have to keep my business and my "pleasure" separate. There's such a thing as ethics and if you cross the line you'll be in big trouble.

If you're interested in learning any profession that has to do with feet, look at your motives. If you want to help people feel better, fine. If you just want to get your tickling needs met, look for another line of work. I learned Reflexology because I knew how incredibly good it is for relieving stress. I have a ladyfriend who helps me get my tickling needs met.

A few thoughts:

1) Podiatrists don't usually get the chance to caress many attractive young women's feet; it's instead middle aged women who are in pain from wearing high heels....or elderly diabetic women who are in danger of losing their foot to gangrene-- neither of whom are in the mood for a doctor fondling them to satisfy his fetish.

2) In most cases, you can't decide to only treat women...so you'll be treating the size 12's of many men as well.

3) Becoming a podiatrist is becoming a doctor; which means medical school and an internship....requires lots of money and good grades in school (my sis's bro-in-law is a M.D., so I know).

4) Podiatrists are healthcare professionals just as optometrists, dentists, and surgeons, and are expected (and legally bound) to uphold a professional relationship with his patients; to be on your best behavior at all times. Failure to do so (i.e.- tickling their feet) will result in:

a) loss of your medical license (all that college money wasted)

b) being sued for every dime you own

c) possibly being sent to prison

d) being publicly humiliated; reporters for the local news LOVE stories about doctors in trouble

e) in extreme cases, being assaulted and beaten to a bloody pulp....by the woman you tickle, or more likely her jealous husband or boyfriend

In all honesty, if you truly want a career where there's easy access to lovely young women with cute feet....my suggestion is become a shoe salesman in a suburban mall. You could still get in big trouble for tickling the wrong lady, but at least you won't waste all that time & money going to medical school for nothing....and the odds of seeing pretty female feet up-close on a daily basis are much higher.

Just my 0.02¢ worth...

Would be a cute tickle story, but in reality.....ROFL!

My best friend's husband is in medical school in Iowa studying podiatry right now. Apparently clinicals begin soon and he's damn near worn out from the classes that led up to where he is in the program.

Now, don't get me wrong, this guy digs feet, but not enough to throw away several years of his life and many thousands upon thousands of bucks that medical school costs just to tickle someone when he can do that at the nearest, well, by comparison..... *****house. 😉 Cheaper and likely never have to look at the chick again~! Economically it makes more sense!!

You want to be a doctor of any kind you must be professional. You want to tickle ladies the go to your female friends and see if they will accept money for you to tickle them. At least you know you haven't spent all that time and money to get thrown in jail.

Coastdude, I will give you the befefit of the doubt and assume your post was meant tounge-in-cheek. If not...well...time for a little self-evaluation.

LOL~no doubt! 🙄 😀
At least if you go to cosmetology school, you can get licensed to do pedicures (which tickle anyway...)

XOXO

without having read any of the other posts...not yet...I say if you're going into podiatry just because you want the foot action, you're going to be disappointed. You may have some hot patients which make the effort worthwhile, but for a successful practice, you're going to have to take some paws in your hands. I wish you all the luck I can give, but you said you're going to look at foot disorders and conditions, bunions and corns and hammertoes and tigersharks, you're not applying to become the on-site Doc for Victoria's Secret models. Just a thought, but there I go thinking again.

That is funny but you are right Steph. I might have a new career lined up😛

glad you liked it honey!

I thought the original post was funny as all get out and deserving of an equally humorous response. I do hope this cat was joking but in case he wasn't, at least MY idea won't land him in JAIL...
XOXO

I so agree with you Steph. When doing pedicures you can claim an accident since people like you are so ticklish but when you are a doctor there are code of ethics you MUST follow. Now coastdude Steph and I have kind of kidded around (because that is our nature) but Steph myself and the rest of those who have posted are really serious. You will land in JAIL and have lawsuits filed against you. Are you sure you want this path? Because if you do then you are really looking down 9 miles of bad road and you are not likely to get out of it. We tell you this not to downgrade you but because WE CARE.

I got the message.

Yeah okay, I got the message. Be easy on me. I get urges like all of you too. But sounds too risky to get involved with.

However, how about becoming a pedicurist?

You are on the right track now buddy. We were not trying to be mean. We are a caring community who saw you looking at becoming something that could get you into hot water. We did not want to see that happen. Good luck to you buddy. We are here for you.:grouphug:

A little off the subject...

I've never had a pedicure. How can anyone with VERY ticklish feet sit through one without being embarassed and having to make the person stop? LOL that's what I worry would happen to me!

Would love to give you a pedicure or at least pretend to give you one. What do ya say?😉

err

Podiatrists aren't MDs. They go to podiatry schools. Neither are chiropractors, chiropodists or homeopaths. Sorry for deviating from the pedicure or tickle direction, but I figured I'd clarify...

Bottom line is that code of ethics must be followed and a podiatrist is considered a foot doctor. Look in the phone book.

A Laugh Therapy Clinic!!!

I have a solution! I can start up a Laugh Therapy clinic.

Laughter is physically therapeutic. It relieves gas. Many women complain of gas. Many women feel good after a laugh.

I went to a comedy club once. It was a Monday night and everyone in the lineup looked tired and tense. The show finished at midnight and everyone went home happy, energized and refreshed.

So I can start up a Laughter clinic for people to come in and have a good laugh.

There's no chance of a lawsuit. Upon any filing of legal papers, my defense would be that they came in to be tickled. If it was not their intention to be tickled, then why did they come into my Laugh Clinic?

You want to start up a tickling club then you can do so. I am sure that it would be alot of fun. I hope you let us know when you open it and we will make a party of it. LOL

I've seen this advertised in the Tucson Weekly paper... advertise as a sensual massage therapist. Describe what you do and post your cellphone #. Chances are you'll get calls from women seeking your services... but you'd better be sure to say 'Women only' or you'll get calls from a lot of guys, too. I have a friend who used to do that for a living... she quit after the cops kept hassling her. That's the biggest drawback to this idea.

The point is, you're better off finding a career you can enjoy without having to place yourself in a compromising position. What else interests you? Chances are you'll find a job with a lot of female co-workers. Get to know them and you'll have your foot tickling dreams fulfilled. If your interest in tickling feet outweighs your interest in the job itself, it may not be the ideal job for you.

This may sound like I'm lecturing, but I just want to save you from a whole lot of grief.

Keep on lecturing Feathers we have to keep this boy out of jail. LOL😛

I've said enough. I think he oughta just keep his passion for tickling and his need for a career separate, unless there's a Tickle Institute someplace in need of teachers... I'd apply for a job like that.
