When Ross got to the police station, he went through the processing, of being booked, and of having his picture AKA "Mugshot taken"
Then Ross was taken to a holding cell in the station, where he was held, until Alan Hell arranged for, and paid Ross's bail from a legal account that RossShell set up which Alan had access to.
After, Ross was taken to a questioning room.
With Alan Hell present, A detective came in, and again reminded Ross of his rights.
"Police procedure requires me to ask these questions of "What happened between you and Kayley , Ross on the night of the alleged incident. You can either answer all of my questions, some, refuse to answer any, and then you will be released based on your bail already being posted. If you dont want to answer everything, I understand that, but I suggest you answer some, to make this process easier. I have to record these, and you might be asked these same questions as we go through this process" The cop said.
Ross sighed. "At this point, I almost feel like I have nothing to lose. I've already stated that this was a huge misunderstanding. If I may explain, then maybe it will make things more clear, even if it does not justify my actions" Ross said.
"That's fine" The cop said.
Ross sighed. "While all of this is in the privacy of our own apartment, and always has been, Kayley and I are into certain alternative fetishes. Kayley's work is very important to her. She has worked her way up from a substitute teacher. and teacher's aide, to Vice Principal, and will likely become Principal of that school when Joan retires. If we go through this whole mess, it might not only ruin our marriage, but also both of our careers, if this gets out" Ross said.
The cop sighed. "I understand that, Ross. I can check into it for you. Since you posted bail, and gave me a statement, you are free to go. Last I heard, Kayley was going to her sister Cathy's, but, in case Kayley is at your apartment., I highly recommend you go home, with your attorney, get clothes, and go to a hotel. I do not think that Kayley and you should be alone with each other right now. Any meeting should and almost must take place with a ,mediator, etc. " The cop said.
"Alan will go to my apartment with me, I will get clothes, and go to a hotel"Ross said.
"Okay, I will take your statement, and somehow get it to someone who can read it to your wife. Besides that, the two of you need to stay away from each other, to make sure this does not escalate, or something else comes out that might make it worse. There is already enough trouble here." Ross and Alan left the station in an Uber, and went to Ross and Kayley;'s apartment.
