Poll: How do you feel about using PayPal ?

I know that PayPal is not everyones preferred method of payment but, if there were a video that you really wanted and Paypal were the only method of payment accepted would you (could you) purchase the video?

Along with the poll I would like to hear some comments in this regard.

I've used PayPal once with no worries, but I did get screwed using a credit card to buy some software. It arrived ok and everything, but then I got an email from someone on my MSN messenger list who had received a weird email from some company they didn't know. When they opened up the email, it had all my credit card details, personal details, phone number, address, name... I was so lucky that it went to a kindly vet 😉 instead of some nutbar. Let this be a lesson to the rest of you. Always have a vet on your messenger list so that when Casperlab Software f*ck up your order, someone nice will get your details instead of the guy you hate.

I DO like having the option to use PayPal. But, there's not a lot that I'd bother with it for. So, I don't keep any money there.

I haven't used it to buy something yet, but I've recently added that payment option to my own website, and so far it's been very positive. Everything works the way it's supposed to. Customers don't have to send money or money orders through the mail (the risk is very small, but you never know), it speeds up the service and it makes processing orders easier for me. There's also no chance of me misreading written info, unless I'm half-asleep, drunk and on dope. So no complaints on my side.

I don't use internet paying methods; I know how easy it is to hack creditcards and stuff, some of my friends are quite good hackers
