The poor ducks are clustered in the small area that is still open water (photo on right).

It is true that at least nobody is shooting them in Central Park. 😛

Many people feed them, which is likely why they stay here every winter. This is certainly an usually cold and snowy winter, so their mortality is going to be higher this winter. 🙁
