Stupid but funny question that popped up out of nowhere

If the portal guns ( asuming u know the game ) reaaaaly did ecisted , how would u use em or for what ?? liiiike say blue portal in ure room , orange on next or in the fridge 😛 to get a drink or snack out.

for those who don't know portal the game : basicly u have a gun that shoots 2 portals , a blue and an orange one , wherever u shoot it u have a connection between the 2 so it's like taking a short cut or an easier way to somewhere.

Simple. I'll shoot one at the wall in my room, travel to Wisconsin, and shoot another at the wall in my fiancee's room. Then this long-distance relationship won't feel as long-distance anymore. 🙂

First you have to get to your fiancee's room. If there's no maximum range for the portal gun, I'd make some orbital calculations and aim for Mars. 😉

I just thought it needed to be pointed out for how inefficient that is when one is thinking with portals. :stickout

Assuming the speed of the portal gun particles is near or at light speed ( or is it faster? assumptions, assumptions...), you could be at your fiancee's house in a matter of moments. Bang, zoom, straight to the moon! And back. 😉

All you need is a spacesuit. That should only run you $1.2 million? xD

I used to have a portal gun but I accidentally shot myself in the leg with it. Dunno where the other portal ended up, but coins keep falling out of my leg....
