First things first, I LOVE NPR’s weekly news quiz show, Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me! (WWDTM)
Peter Sagel and the entire cast just do an AMAZING job week in and week out of making last week’s news funny and sublimely entertaining.
But enough superlatives.

WWDTM is also one of the most popular podcasts out in the ether-verse.
Their latest episode, a year in review version, really caught my attention and inspired the idea for a new story.
The portion of the show that provided that inspiration came from an interchange between the aforementioned lovely and talented Jessi Klein (Emmy award winning head writer for the Inside Amy Schumer show amongst a hoard of other accolades), and the equally lovely Jon Hamm (Emmy and Golden Globe winning actor known best for his role as Don Draper from Mad Men).

Jessi gets a bit star struck by Mr. Hamm (maybe just for comedic effect, but it came across the airwaves as genuine to me) and jokes with Hamm that she’s essentially ‘available’.
She delivers her lines perfectly by telling a story about her boyfriend, and then ends her dialogue with Hamm stating that her and her boyfriend are no longer together.
Klein then quickly interjects that...
‘I'm married, but we have, like, an arrangement. He doesn't know yet, but we have an arrangement.’
Hilarious and erotically intriguing at the same time.
Peter steers the conversation back to a 3 question quiz about Spam (which is also hilarious and should not be missed if you have about 5 minutes to kill)...
but I couldn’t help but let my mind steer back to an alternate universe where the sexy and talented married female writer, Jessi, and this equally sexy and talented single male actor, Jon, get to explore a little laughter mechanic’ing if you will with Jon propositioning Jessi to massage her feet and tickle her toes after the show.
