Is it just me, or does it seem like all the good teams are in the NFC this year? the AFC has a few decent teams at best. Pats, Chargers, Indy, and Denver arent the same. they all seem pretty average to me. :idunno:

Look just because Tom Brady isn't playing this year does not mean that all of a sudden the NFC is better then the AFC for the first time since the Cowboy's dynasty in the early to mid 90's. A lot of the power teams int he AFC are hurt right now. Indy, Pittsburgh (my team 🙂), and Jacksonville are all in bad shape right now because of injury troubles. I have no idea why the Chargers are playing so poorly, but they aren't getting it done either. Also, other then the entire NFC East, the NFC isn't that improved. They definetly closed the gap to the poitn where it is almost non existent, but I don't see them being the better of the two for another 2 years.

I think the NFC is stronger right now. washington, dallas, giants, carolina, tampa bay. id still give them the edge.

I guess now that the Pats are on the downswing, maniac is looking for a new team to jump on with. :manicd:

Yes the NFC is stronger, more specifically, the NFC EAST is the strongest.

All four teams in the division know the stakes and know that at most only three of them can make the playoffs (which isn't realistic) so they draft, trade, and train preparing to beat the hell out of one another.

Any one of the four could win it all this year, IMO.

As for the rest of the NFC, I think only maybe the Panthers could make it to the SB because every other team has [massive] flaws (MIN: QB, NO: D, GB: QB/young/inconsistent, TB: QB/O) and because the NFC West SUCKS ASS!

As for the AFC, most teams are injured (SD, PIT, JAX, NE, IND) or have bad/young coaches (SD, BAL, CLE). Throw in the fact tough scheduling and Bad D's/young players and it's a recipe for disaster.

IMO, the only 'Legit' AFC team is Tennessee unless PIT gets healthy and/or SD pulls their head from their @$$.

All AFC teams have [massive] flaws to overcome, IMO, (including TEN, PIT and SD) and I think it will be tough to overcome them all season and the playoffs to take the trophy home.

I really think that an NFC East team wins it all this year, plain and simple. (Injuries and choke jobs not factored in, of course)
