Prayers for families...and peace

The brave men and women who have lost their lives in the war against terror are true heroes. In my book, they join the ranks of the dearly departed heroes of September 11th...all the firemen and policemen rescue workers who gave their lives to help others.

They made the ultimate sacrifice not just to protect freedom, but civilization as we know it.

These terrorist losers are attacking the very existence of life on Earth...it creeps me out, I admit...all this talk about looking for nuclear weapons, enacting a "shadow government" in case of some catastrophe, mindless barbarians who kill with absolutely no agenda...(sorry, folks, if they've got an agenda, I don't buy it; they are the ultimate in evil and must be put to justice)

But I'm not going to let them beat me in a war of the psyche...they are EVIL and I pray very much that they will fall and fall hard.

I pray for cooler heads to win the day in our government and for peace to finally have the last word. And God Bless those who give their lives in defense of evil. They are the real "good guys." (and girls!)

As I Echoed, An Important Acknowledgement, Indeed!

strokeofgenius, I more or less echoed what you said of true American heroes in My DO NOT Go Soft In The Wake Of American Casualties Overseas, Please! thread here in the General Forum. You may have already read it. Regardless, may your higher power bless you and the rest of America and our allies in this moment of test.

To tcrewme, Strelnikov, Dave2112, shark, kyle, TicklingDuo-Ann, venray1 and others responded and soon to respond to both strokeofgenius' and my thread on this topic...thank you for your love and validation...one more reason to be proud as an American.
