previews on C4S

As I myself have never sold a clip on C4S I'm wondering what it is with some producers will have a 30 second preview clip, but you click on it and it's all the preamble to the actual tickling.

So either the producer can't control what their preview is which I highly doubt it works that way or they are just bad at advertising.

When you upload a video c4s makes a preview for you, but you have the option to make & upload your own

You can make it play the first seconds of the video, which is usually not very clever to do, especially if there is no tickling to be seen. I always wonder why people would buy a clip, no matter how good-looking the model is, how nice the the bondage device or whatever, without even knowing if he/she is even ticklish.

Just my personal opionion to such previews or no previews at all:
- producer is hiding something (non-ticklish 'lee, terrible 'ler...) and/or is afraid to show the quality of the clip (bad lighting, poor sound quality...) --> pretending that this raises the level of suspense or curiosity for the viewer is just bs in my mind; I would never buy such clips

I always try to put a 59 seconds preview (unless the clip is very short), I do take 1 to 2 hours additional work on these.

Thing is a lot of producers think their clips will sell anyway, or that people will only watch the preview. Even if you have customers that trust your style and professionalism, I use the previews as a way to say "this is why you need to watch this clip"
