Blondie, it's been a bit now, but you and I chatted some time ago, and as I recall, we had a perfectly lovely conversation. This has been my experience.
I have been here almost three years, and have chatted with more people than I can certainly remember. The great majority of the time, the conversations have gone fine, with easy give and take, and such. Occasionally, there can be times when one will just run into a person who might take offense at something, or will leave suddenly due to either their personality, getting booted, or something else that happens in life. While we all try to be civil and as nice as possible, there are inevitably going to be times when subjects or questions come up that another either does not want to discuss, and finds offensive, and will care not to chat about. Other times, there may just be people with rude personalities who leave without saying anything because this is just how they are. I used to chat with one person via AOL (Not on here) who would leave me without saying anything right in the middle of an intense conversation or sharing of ideas. This person did so on a regular basis, where it got to the point that I dont talk to them anymore, because I found their consistent leaving in the middle of the conversation rude.
Sometimes it may not be what anyone says or does, but it can be another person, a clash of personalities, or not "clicking", as I like to call it. To be human is to be imperfect. We cant please everyone all of the time. We will have some who think we are wonderful, and others who dont like us. This has happened to me, both on here, and in life, and happens to us all. All you can do is to put your best foot forward, be as polite as possible, and hope for the best. That's what I do. For the record, I found you a good person to chat with, and would talk to you again pc anytime. Keep trying, dont give up. Inevitably, you will find your niche of those who you enjoy talking with, and those who you dont mesh with.
