Wow I have seen some shit in my day (in terms of sport) ;I have played through it and witnessed it first hand - but the Pro bowl teams are fucking ridiculous.
A few of my observations:
- Romo making it? Even cowboy fans should know that is a joke, um how bout Vick or Farve?
- Gore and Adrian Wilson deserved there spots (two good decisions)
- Um NFC CB's again bullshit, Barber is there cause his brother is retiring and the NFL wanted them to set a record (but he plays solid I admit) but why is Fall and Sheppard (I have not heard Sheppards name called all year) make it ahead of Charles Woodson - who leads the NFC in ints?? Isn't that how they chose the CB's; last year Ty Law made it because he was tied for the lead or does the NFL please themselves with criteria.
- Brain Westbrook missing out.
- Roy Williams (Lions WR) missing out.
- Rivers making it? How about Brady, the steelers QB, McNair, Pennington
- Sapp not making it considering he is leading the sacks for interior lineman and making plays on a TOP 10 Raiders D and if not Sapp why not Henderson who kept the Jags defense together when Stroud was hurt instead of Seymour, Hampton and Williams.
- John Lynch making it and people call Roy Williams a liability in pass coverage.
- Now one of my personal favourite fuck up's this year...............Nnamdi Asomugha missing out. Chump Bailey (most over-rated defender in the NFL) Mathis (only there cause he is tied with int lead WAIT WAIT so is Asomugha and WAIT again so is Woodson....interesting they didnt make it) then God only knows why McAlister made it above Asomugha.
Can someone tell me why Asomugah didn't make it considering he -
1 - tied for the lead in the AFC for ints
2 - returned one for a TD
3 - plays 95% man coverage with little to no safety help
4 - plays on a team which is ranked in the TOP 5 in pass defence.
Honestly what ever credibility the pro bowl had is now gone.
