Prob. with real player

i have downloaded the latest version of real one player. and i used to watch clips (*.rm, *.ram) in the player neatly but now a days i just hear the audio but i'm unable to see the video. hellllp

i believe www.oldversion.com or something might be an option

RP's latest version sucks bigtime, as is the case with MSN messengere

Sonia, if you get sound but no video image, you may need a DIVX codec for your Real Player. It is available free at www.divx.com but I recommend the "alpha 2.0" version, which has no adware/spyware, as opposed to the "full" ad-supported version or the pay version. Once you install DIVX, the codec will work automatically when you play a clip that needs it in RP or WMP.

I agree that Real Player generally sucks. I have found the older Version 8 works adequately, but I had to uninstall the Real One (newer) version due to various problems.

I agree with MistressValerie, it's probably the Divx codecs thats causing your problem.
