Problem with my CoV game card.

Hay gang, I just bought a new City of Villians game card and when I typed it in it keeps telling me I haven't typed in the right code. I've done it several times and I keep getting "The code you've entered doesn't apear to be... yadda yadda yadda..." do any of you have any advice?
