What is required to proclaim yourself a "professional tickler" ?
I've seen that expression in many buy-online tikling sites, but what does it suggest ? That the ticklers performing in these clips are experienced, that they are skillful, or simply it does mean that they are efficient (at the lee's expanses) ?

How do you make the difference between amateur videos and the so called "professional" ones ? The quantity of laugh they get out of the victim?
Irrelevant, since it depends on the ticklishness of the lee. The shooting ? No,
since we're then assessing the quality of the shooter and not the tickler himself.

Can I call myself a professional tickler ? By vertue of what ?

My views are that this notion of "professionalism" looks very vague to me, as it is impossible to really assess the performance of the tickler.

Please let me know if you're with me on that. :atom:

That is a very good question. Do professional ticklers put on a suit and tie?

I would say that somebody is a professional X if they make their living by doing X and getting paid for it. I would imagine there are very few professional ticklers in the world, while there are quite a few professional Dommes who do tickling as one of their activities.

Yeah, I agree with Milagros, and OP. I think the only real definition of "professional" is whether or not a person generates and income doing it it. It is their "profession."

The idea of a "professional tickler" somehow being among the upper crust of skilled ticklers is just dumb.

Professional also means how much effort/responsibility you put into what you do.
You may not have a certificate or paperwork saying you're a professional, but everyone just knows it.

If the models respect you, you make an effort to get better equipment, your camera angles are nice, the scene is well lit, the situations vary, etc. You could probably call yourself a professional.

From what I've heard, it looks like I am a "professional" wedding videographer.
I've shot a few weddings, and the couples loved them. They usually received them in about two or three weeks, with a labeled case and DVD. I work a full time, unrelated to video.
BUT, I went to a wedding recently where they used two BIG cameras, the shooters had headsets, the works. You would obviously call them professional.
It's been over four months - the bride has yet to get her video, and the videographers won't return her phone calls. I use a consumer grade camcorder, but provide steady footage. Who is the more "professional?"

There are many of you here who are probably "professionals" in your real world jobs, and don't even know it.

I look at turtleboy - I think every model has returned for his shoots, at least three times.....he probably doesn't look at himself as a "professional," but he must be doing SOMETHING DAMN right to be getting that many returning models.
Other producers work with girls once, and you never see them again.....

I've always defined professional as being your main source of earned income. So, for me a professional tickler is one who's primary income is derived from tickling people.

Professional also falls under the description Mabus gave. But that describes more how one acts as opposed one's income. You act professional, even if you are not. but a professional can act unprofessionally.

Ok, I just made myself go crosseyed...anyone else?

I made myself a certificate using the print shop and now I'm as professional as it gets. I used to have a feather pin that I would wear on my lapel, but I lost the back so now it just sits in my dresser. It hasn't really effected my credibility, but there was this one time where a girl who I was considering working with said to me, "So you're a professional tickler? Don't you guys usually have a badge or a pin?" This took the wind out of my sails for a day or two, but now I'm back to searching professionally for the right model.

:woot2: Too f'n funny 😀 Here's to hoping you find the back to your <<<<---- pin 😀

Roxy and Amber both told me that I had a very effective tickling technique.. not sure what that meant. I just tickle. 🙂

If you are a professional tickler, can you write off NEST attendance as a business expense?

I would say it doesn't come down to their skill or the quality of the ladies (as I've seen quite a few people claiming to be "professional" ticklers that were complete garbage in both regards).

I think it mostly comes down two things. A) The quality of equipment used (ESPECIALLY the camera. Every clip titled "amateur" on here is a clip with shoddy camera work and a poor quality $50 camera) B) It is sold for money

SOMETIMES it also takes into account the number of people involved and who. For instance- an amateur clip might involve just 2 people- a husband and wife. Whereas a "professional" clip might involve several people - a tickler, someone they hired to be tickled, and a third party for camera work and the safety of the lee.

In the end, someone calling themselves a "professional" tickling company as opposed to just being a tickling company is, like anything else in the business world, a marketing term to make people more interested.

Pro-tickler: A self-imposed label by one who generates finances through tickling (be it porn, or pro-topping/pro-bottoming), regardless of skillset.

"NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT" SEEMS APPRPORIATE

I am keeping my amateur status until after the next "tickle olympics" I can't wait to see my picture on the Wheaties box holding a Sonicare with da gold medal around my neck.
