Question about hotel gatherings

Hey, all,

I'm looking to put together another gathering in Dallas but have no place to do it. Our rent-a-dungeon from Feb.'03 is too pricey right now.... my credit card statement is more like a shout (Thank you thank you!).... and no one has volunteered their home, so I'm looking into hotel rooms, even suites.

Now I need feedback from you all, or y'all, as this is Dallas. For those of you who hosted or attended a gathering held in a hotel room or suite, what exactly happened with the noise situation? I'm real worried about being "busted". This is Dallas, not the wild anything-goes debached world of Wisconsin. Did anyone ever experience a noise complaint? If so, how was it handled? And did it come by phone... or a knock on the door?

I remember NEST 2000, walking down the hall at 2AM and hearing laughter coming from a room or two. No big deal, but I don't know if that would play in big D. What if I get a knock - not a call - on my door with someone asking for us to keep it quiet, only to be discovered with a young woman tied down being tickled. Or an old one. See, as was explained to me by a lawyer who handled cases for the state, if the police get involved in some way, like on a noise complaint, if you're discovered with a helplessly bound person in your room, you can get arrrested on unlawful restrain or assault, EVEN IF it is consentual, becuase that is how the laws are written in TX and if the cops are jerks enough, they will press the charges. Probabaly won't, but they could. Remember that the TX sodomy law was only declared unconstitutional in 2003, so it isn't the most open minded place on behind-closed doors activity. Charges are usually dropped, never going to court, and quite honestly I think getting my name in the paper for having a tickling party will only HELP me meet others in the long run, but it's that being caught and taken away to the pokey short run that I'm hung up on.

I keep remembering the police knocking on Jeff's door in his MTP Farrah video, and the worst case scenario keeps playing out in my mind...... A hotel - risk it or not?

Hotel parties are nothing to worry about. Tell the desk you'll be having friends over and you'd like a room away from other people if at all possible. Have any party attendees who will be staying at the hotel book the rooms around your party room. In the unlikely event that you do get a complaint you untie the person before opening the door. 🙄

I've hosted and attended many very lively tickling and spanking parties in hotels with no trouble whatsoever, and this is Ohio. You'll be fine.

I'm just going to echo Bella here, basically. The one time there was a problem at one of the few Gatherings I've attended in a hotel, it was one of the neighbors banging on the wall, and that was the extent of it. Having anyone who's attending that's also booking a room there anyway, make it one of the next door rooms, hell, if the event has a big enough turnout, you may want to approach the hotels you're negotiating with to see about getting not only a group rate, but to have everybody on the same floor.

The first few gatherings of the Hyeans Club I run were held in Motels/Hotels and we never had a problem. Just pick a decent hotel. You have nothing to worry about.

Thanks for the advice Bella. I guess it will work out. I know you put a lot into your play gatherings. Well, I'm thinking maybe a hotel it is then.

BTW - I was watching Tickling Nickie again last night. Such a great tape! Buy from Bella - she's real!

All's I know is what I see on COPS. They knock on the door and shout "Open up". Then there's a bunch of shuffling and whispering behind the door as *something* is happening, so the police lose patience, yell 'Open up!' again, kick down the door, arrest you, take you downtown, and stick a plunger up your butt. I'm interested in a tickle gathering, not uniforms and ass play!

Thank you all for the feedback and suggestions! Well, we shall give it a goe this way I guess and see how it turns out. I'm thinking of 2 connected suites for 2 days (our turnout won't be that big since this is only our 2nd gathering - maybe 10-12 people....) Does that sound like a decent size? I think regular rooms would be too small.

*snorts* BWAAAA HA HA HA HA!!! Apparently you are NOT referring to the 'Wisconsin' I live in!! Omg! A more 'behind the rest of the country', out-of-sorts, uptight, bunch of hicks can not be found north of Alabama! (don't get me wrong, fellow Wisconsinites...I love our state and I'm proud to live here...just found his comments amusing, is all).

Wisconsin is NOT anything goes. People are very closed minded and private around here, and we had NO problems at all hosting the GLAT gathering in a hotel. A very populated hotel I might add. And we were LOUD. But not one single complaint was made, no surprise knocks on the door, no angry phone calls, nothing. It went smooth as can be.

Just follow the advice already provided, and be SURE to let the front desk know that you will be entertaining visitors and may produce a little noise. As long as they know to expect it ahead of time, they are usually more than happy to help properly accomodate you, and make adjustments so that other customers will not be disturbed.
