Question about pedicures... being ticklish

I’ve never had a pedicure and was thinking of getting one. Do they have private pedicure places or is it usually just like 10 chairs and everyone can see your embarrassing reaction? 😛

from what I have seen on videos of girls getting pedicure is in a public setting

Never heard of a private pedicure place. Pretty sure it's just a few chairs lined up side by side. I have passed by places in malls where there's only 3 or 4 chairs total and not 10 or 15. So at least you wouldn't be embarrassed in front of that many people. Maybe not much of a consolation but I think that's the best you're gonna do.

Oh thanks, was trying to look online and nearby and see if they have just like private rooms like if someone was getting a massage ( also never got a massage yet ).

You're welcome Massages can be held in private depending on the type of massage if I'm not mistaken

I just got one today and while I can keep quiet, I was kind of doing the stanky leg in the chair. Lady asked me if I was ok lol

I dunno if anyone else noticed but yeah, it was a room with 5 chairs and 5 nail stations all together. There was like 6 other people in there.

Hmm only place I could find was a pedicure on Craigslist for $25 at her home. Also it was like 3 hours away. Lol

Actually, yes. If you google private pedicure, something should pop up in or around your area. Some salons have a private pedicure room because they know some people are self conscious. Sometimes you have to travel a it more. The closest one to me is about 90 minutes.

If you make an appointment for RIGHT when they open, there are rarely many folks there. When I have gone first thing, sometimes I am the only customer there. That’s the most “private”
i have seen though.

I have found it to be a bit like the hairdressing salon one to one service but not in a private room individual chairs in a group
