Question about Yahoo Groups

OK, this is quite an awkward question for me to ask you guys...

Basically, I'm thinking of joining Yahoo Groups so I can watch tons of clips that I don't have access to here. Thing is, I'm worried about the section where you have to fill in your postcode and location. The problem is that I still live with my parents and they don't know about my tickling fetish and I don't yet want them to know. With the address section there, does that mean that Yahoo start sending you adverts and things through the post? Because I don't want to have to explain influxes of strange Yahoo mail popping through our letterbox.

Also, I have noticed that there is a checkbox at the bottom of the page which says Send me special offers, promotions, and research surveys from selected Yahoo! partners through Yahoo! Delivers. If I uncheck that box, will it then not send me anything at all, thus making the above question completely irrelevant?

In short, is there any way at all that I won't be sent anything through the post after subscribing?

Yahoo Groups aren't like gonna sent you things in the mail if that is what your thinking. just sign up for a yahoo Email Address Account and then after that go onto yahoo groups and search away for Yahoo Groups that you may like to become a member of. and then after that after you do find a Yahoo Group that you like click on Join this Group or something like that i think it says. then wait till you have access to that Group or Group and then after you do you'll be able to look at pictures(images) and video(clips) through thoses various Yahoo Groups. and if your really that worried about your parents finding out just download the video(clips) and then save them into a new Weird Folder name hidden away into your Computer somewhere just make like a weird folder name and then have the video(clips and images) be saved into that folder everyytime after you are done downloading the Clips from thoses various Yahoo Groups that you are a member of.

and also Yahoo Groups are somewhat of a good way to meet other ticklees and ticklers on there as well from what i've heard from various people.

also about that checkbox at the bottom of the page which says Send me special offers, promotions, and research surveys from selected Yahoo! partners through Yahoo! Delivers. your Right if you do un-check that box you won't get any Junk and special offers from yahoo sent straight into your email address box so your Fine there.

plus one last thing to add. once you sign up for a Yahoo Group all they will do is review your membership (some Yahoo groups will and some won't) but once they have or haven't they'll just send you a email saying Welcome to (whatever the Yahoo Group name is that you joined) once you see that email you can just delete it so you never see it again or your parents don't see it(But remember your password and user name though at all times). and thats it pretty much. so there should be nothing to worry about there


But there are other people on here that have used Yahoo Groups before and still do so they'll help you out as well

You don't have to put down your real information if you don't want to. I've never heard of anyone getting real life mail through yahoo's stuff anyway.

i was using getting stuff through Yahoo in your real life mail as a funny joke you know haha.

and yeah Aqua is right you also don't have to use your real info anyways you can just make it all up if you want to theshire

Oddly enough, no. I have my own computer in my room so I'm not likely to get found out by e-mails or anything. I know the mail thing is quite a little concern, it's just that my dad gets quite uppety about these things and I don't want to make him mad. It's just not worth it.

P.S. Does anyone know any good groups with lots of upperbody tickling clips? Cheers.

your Dad will not found out about the Yahoo Groups that your gonna join or thinking about joining. the only way he'd found out about all your Yahoo Groups and everything is if he knew awhole lot about computers or if he was a good Hacker (then he could just Hack into your yahoo email account and find out your password for it and everything)

but if your Dad is like my Dad theshire in Real Life. then your safe trust me🙂. my Dad knows some little things about computers. but not enough to actually find out all about my Tickling websites that i visit and Tickling images that i look at online.

But if you have a pretty smart Dad and he knows quit a bit about computers (or your own personal computer that is) then you can always save your Clips that you download from the Yahoo Groups onto a Zip Disk or a Burnt cd. to save them to a Zip Disk you just right click the mouse on the Clip that you want to save and then left click on the ''Save Target As'' button. and then click on Save then it will automatically save it to the Zip Disk itself (the Clip or Clips that is)

that is what i do i burn my Tickling clips that i've downloaded off the internet from various websites onto a Zip Disk. it works fine for me

LOL, my dad is brilliant with computers! He works with them for a living, and prides himself on the fact that he has never given up on a PC, and always managed to fix or write some new software for it, whatever it takes.

I actually do already save my clips in a random folder which he's unlikely to find; I have about thirty or so clips saved there. He doesn't go on my computer very often, but once he did and almost found my clips. He was in the folder where they were and somehow managed not to notice them! My heart stopped, I tell ya'. 😱

Anyway, I've become a member of Yahoo! Groups now. Thanks for the link, I'll check it out. I don't have Aim but I should be home most of today so I'll try coming back here as much as I can. 😉

Well, I'm not sure entirely but I just get this feeling that they wouldn't be very accepting, especially my dad. Sure, I'm nearly 19 and I can make my own choices, but I don't want to open a rift between us. I'm sure you understand that.

i have been a member of a few Yahoo Groups in the paste. but that weren't Tickling Yahoo Groups they were navel & tummy Yahoo Groups. so there were no real Clips to download

i'm prob speaking for TKpervet here and i prob should not be. But he would prob suggest just doing like i do and Downloading Clips off of the TMF and TickleTheater and other various Tickling websites and then saving them onto Disks so you can go back and then just pop in the disk to watch the Clips over and over again. whenever you want to

Ah, but I've downloaded virtually every clip here and at Tickle Theater. I am simply looking for further sources because there are a couple of clips that I desperately want and I need to try and find them without paying for a site like ExtremeTickling.

Nothing wrong with Yahoo groups for getting clips, except for bandwidth limits.
I've joined a few, mainly for pics, and if I remember right all I had to enter was my Yahoo id and password.
