question for cosquillero

There are my steps in the process using HACHA.
No.1 download the files
No.2 Unzip the files
No.3 Double click the HACHA.exe
No.4 A black box come out
No.5 Nothing happens
I didn't see any botton to have my files combined

This happens everytime.

Steps 1 and 2 must to copy all files (zipped and after unzipped) inside of a same folder. You can to create a new folder, and just download all .zip files there, and next unzip each .zip file just there too. About of black box, what OS have you (windows, linux or mac) ?. You said me than you'd post a .zip file with your screen caps, what happened with that ?.

Hello !!
Have you a file named "files con hacha *.0 " ???
You just have to open it ( besides only that one shows up and it's in rose color )
Normally when you open hacha you have two possibilites : cortar ( split file ) and pegar ( join file ) click on that last ( right button) that will open the rose file i mentioned above. Select it and click then on left button and that's all.

I am afraid to say that I don't have "files con hacha *.0 " flie.
I only have is "HACHA.exe ***.rm.0 ***.rm.1" and so on.

Don't you have just one file that is in rose color ???? If so just open it if not i'm unable to say what to do. See thread in splits section named : Hacha faq ( sticky ) it may help you.

That's what he meant. "files con hacha"="files with hacha" with a .0 extension. Once you have all the files in one folder (With Hacha.exe) you simply need to open hacha, click Pegar, and select the file ending with the .0 extension. It should then piece the file back together.

I have done as you said, but there is no "Pegar" botton.

jerrold0023 that black screen is the presentation window of hacha (this image "4 Double click HACHAEXE"), means than hacha is running now, you can to check your task bar, in order to know if hacha program is started up or not, that presentation windows keep for some seconds, after it's closed and after appear a window (the main window of hacha), where you choose if Split (Cortar) or Join (Pegar) a file (look at this image, this's what you need in your pc), in your task bar should be a image like this attached below, indicating than hacha is running and ready to work.

Thanks to cosquillero, alf and HisDivineShadow.
After I double click the Hacha.exe, the only thing happening is that the black box come out, and there is no botton giving me a chance to combine or split, and no hacha sign on the task bar.
I really have no idea about that.

You're welcome 🙂. Well my friend judging by your screen caps, i could see than you have some program interfering with hacha on your pc (you can to see that, because your file .0 and .1 have an icon different at rest of them and isn't hacha's icon exactly). Have you runned some another splitter aplication jerrold0023 ?.

Yeah, hjsplit, Winrar and others run well on my computer accept hacha.
Therefore, if I have choice in which one is my favorate splitter, I would be hard to decide. But maybe winrar is better, because I have get used to using it.

I ran hjsplit on my pc and that don't interfere with hacha, maybe apart of winrar and hjsplit you have ran another splitter application or some program that uses .0 and .1 kind of file as part of it (registring that kind of file as own in Windows's registry). The solution is clean your registry (deletes those .0 and .1 keys there). But that task is only for advanced users.
