Such hypocrisy sickens me. From the moment I heard that news, I have smiled every time I heard of american casualties. Of course, most guys who get shot don't have anything to do with it but they are a part of it therefor I hail their destruction.

Blagh, down with US occupation of Iraq, on with the UN...

Question: Did the murder by beheading of American civilian Nick Berg in Iraq make you smile? Do you hail his destruction?

as nigel powers said in the 3rd austin movie, goldmember:

"there are two kinds of people i don't like. those who are intollerant of other cultures....and the DUTCH".

No, he's not a soldier and he did not partake in any torturous actions or whatsoever, but I can fully understand the way the Iraqi's who killed him felt, like "you torture and murder our innocent people, we slaugher yours"

eye for an eye...

Then you have serious issues and should probably get busy addressing them......

As for the "eye for an eye", perhaps I missed the beheadings of captured Iraqi civilians? This is barbaric indefensible behavior and given its timing, my already low opinion of this group of extremists has fallen yet another notch. Whomever is in charge of their intelligence/media operations should be their next execution. The idiocy of this act and the attention it focuses on their behavior completely overshadows anything that the occupation forces have done, and negates the upswing in world opinion that they had seen in the last 10 days...moronic on so many levels. If their intent is to intimidate, surely they learned that the reaction of the USA isn't to back down in the face of horror, but rather to find and expunge the source. Check with the Taliban on how quickly life can change....

Pure bullshit. Slaughtering ALL US soldiers in Iraq in the same way they slaughtered that poor fellow doesn't even overshadow the deeds done by the US in Iraq. A muslim'd rather be decapitated than get raped by a man. Systematic torture is a whole lot worse than just a bunch of idiots killing a man. It happens all over the world, big deal. What is completely outrageous is that US soldiers systematically torture and humiliate Iraqi prisoners all over Iraq whilst promising freedom and liberty (fuck it, they even adopted Saddam's torture techniques including electric sticks) and have completely destabilized the country and have daily razzia's in which innocent people are arrested "just because they might just be suspicious" and all that for the sake of freedom. With massive unemployment, I'd say the Iraqi's were better off with Saddam than with the US

Nothing, and then I mean nothing overshadows that

Who could argue..

with logic such as that? Putting it in big letters has convinced me of your positions merit. Your ability to speak for the Muslim population of the country is indeed overwhelming.

I'm relatively sure it was a foreign group that killed him.

Wow Sadistic, that was quite a load you just deposited here.
I value you as a member of the TMF and I value and contemplate all opinions, but starting today I will read all your future 'political' posts with eyebrow raised askance.

Once again, more rantings from this person. I've looked at your screen name, your signature, and your photos and no longer wonder where your philosophy comes from. I will no longer waste precious time convincing you of your ignornance, or how your ignorance is being displayed on this message board like a billboard over the highway. You have it all under control.

There are extremists in every religion, and Muslims are no exception to this. I know muslims that are intelligent, articulate, compassionate, caring, and god-loving people. We don't agree on some of the issues, but we respect each other.

I also know some muslims who smoke, drink, fornicate, are violent, steal, and are basically horrible people. I used to think all of them were like this, but no one culture is exactly alike.

Some of these fools will put allah on anything to justify their blood lust. They don't even know what the cause is anymore, they just want to fight.

Personally, I think that all non Iraqi citizens should leave. They should put Saddam back into power and let them get him out. Good luck to that. But I'd get out of their way and whatever happens in their country when they leave, let them figure it out.

Don't you love people who scoff at and wish for the killing of the very people that provide him with the comforts, freedom, and protection to say what he will in our country. Freedom of speech comes with a price. I have an ex-friend who thinks like Sadistic. I told the guy to move out of the country if he thinks we are so bad. He still lives here. Last time he tried to start an arguement with me on this subject, I waited till he was done and told him this-"I see you are still living here." He said "Yeah! So?" And then I told him "Shut the hell up you hypocrite!" And I walked away.

Hey Sadistic. How about the 5,000 Kurd's that got killed up in the north by Saddam Hussein's biological testing. What about his son's torture chambers. Kids from the ages of 6 and up. What about that? That was a Muslim killing and torturing Muslim's. Where they better off then having Saddam then?

Here is a true Muslim person

EMAIL OF THE DAY: "My name is Ahmad Hamza and I am an Arab American, I have been a police officer in the state of Texas for 10 years and I have seen it all. Like you and many others what happened to Nick Berg really upset me and hit me double hard because Nick is an American and his perpetrators were sadly enough Arabs. Like you said in your article, those radicals that do things in the name of Islam are no better than the KKK that claim to be true Christians. One day I would like everyone to know that true Muslims are kind and good hearted like True Christians, and people like the KKK, Al Qaeda, and other militant groups only make it worse for everyone else. Thank you for defending Islam and Muslims the way you did because I knew deep down in my heart that there were people in the US that were fair, after all we are all human and America was created by people who sought freedom of religion. I am deeply sorry for the malicious murder of Nick Berg and I hope to God that they catch those responsible. I also extend my deepest sympathies to the Berg family and tell them that my prayers are with them."

This is a Muslim in the real sense of the word.
