Question for the techies and attached image

I recently purchased a ftkl foot tickling and fantasy (or whatever the store's name is) clip and went to work with it in Windows Movie Maker on a Windows 7 machine. I have not had any trouble with this new computer taking screen shots with this Windows software. But for some reason, when I go to take screen shots of this particular video all I get is a blur. I even saved the video thinking that perhaps something in the way he designed the file was causing this problem, but to no avail. See attached image and if anyone has any idea what to do, would be most appreciated. Have only bought one of his videos and kind of thinking I may not buy another if this is the case.

Another thing that I have thought of is the file extension that Movie Maker might have saved it under and it was a PNG, but when I checked other screen shots I"ve made since purchasing this computer they're all being saved in PNG.

Some movie formats have an anti-screenshot measure included. While I've only ever encountered an effect that makes the image shown in the viewer basically invisible to the computer itself, I assume the blur is very possible.

That said, PNG shouldn't be the issue. It's actually a fantastic image format. Something is "wrong" between the point that the video is visible and the PNG is saved out. I can't say for sure, but I'd bet money it's anti-copy. Not really sure if there's a good way around it. Try using VLC to view/screencap the video, maybe?

Hmm well thanks. Guess since I can't do what I want with the copy of a video I download for my own personal use, that I won't be downloading clips from producers who use anti-copy measures.

It might seem daft, but a few times before I have found that if you press the print screen button twice instead of once, it has actually worked and shown an undistorted image.

It may or may not work for you, but worth a try I guess.
